Brad Allen says tiger prawn season did not reach last year's record catches, but the veteran trawler skipper is happy

The 52 boats in the northern prawn fishery (NPF) have returned to ports from Cairns to Karumba to the Kimberley after four months at sea in the Gulf of Carpentaria. Skipper Brad Allen on board the F.V. Gnarloo has just completed his 26th year in the Gulf where he's earned a reputation as one of Austral Fisheries' most reliable skippers.
