Shehzad Munim is the First Bangladeshi managing director of British American Tobacco in the history of its last 105 years, is the guest of corporate show "I Style" by the hosting of Independent Television. He has made his mark not only in Bangladesh but also in south Asia, Australia and New Zealand market and hold important position both in Bangladesh and abroad. For his great contribution to the company, he was appointed as the Managing director of British American Tobacco Bangladesh, a prestigious brand of the world. His success path was very eventful by the heartfelt prayers of his parents. The most important thing that he had was the hunger to learn, when he started to work in the field as a territory Officer. After a year, he has been brought to the head office to work with Brands team. At that time, he did not know much apart from writing documents. He met the head of brands, got challenge to promote the brand, so far that was the worst period of his career since he was not relevantly experienced. However, with his hard work he became brand manager and senior brand manager consecutively from brand officer. He was always keen to learn how the sales are happening, how it works, how to lead the big team and his hunger is yet to finish, that was the reason behind enjoying his work; said shehzad munim. When he first went to abroad to New Zealand, he thought that he would have chance to learn more but after going there he realized that he knows more than them to teach. He was the boss but he was never been in bossy character, because he believes that boss is not always correct. After a while, he has been occupied to handle the entire portfolio as head of brand in New Zealand. He came back in Bangladesh with his expanded knowledge. He also played role as an Area Head Of marketing for South Asia based on Islamabad, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Maldives. After that, he received his dream job as a managing Director. They have their Factory behind the corporate office, is one of the largest factory of Asia. Overall employees are about 900. Shehzad Munim spoke about the inside environment of the corporate Office at The British American Tobacco Bangladesh. A very greenery and fresh breathing view with a cricket and football playing ground for staff and employees. Every weekend He plays cricket with the young employees. In this video, he has been shown with BATB's sport's wear. The BATB Cricket team went to Australia, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. Apart from this most of his non-corporate time spends with his son and love to do the things with that his son loves. He has been asked about the bad patch of his career! His answer was...every human being has difficulties like a cricket match. To overcome this patch, you have to stick to the basic.
