The 1950's where an important decade for music. This was when music transferred from jazz and blues to rock n' roll. This was because of artists such as Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, and Chuck Berry.
For the second half of the twentieth century, I have decided to make each decade video have 30 songs instead of 20. This is because people know much more songs in the second half then the first.

El cantante y compositor Alberto Aguilera Valadez, conocido como Juan Gabriel, falleció este domingo en Santa Mónica, California a los 66 años de edad.
El deceso del cantante originario de Parácuaro, Michoacán, sucedió a las 11:30 am, a causa de un infarto, según confirmaron familiares del artista.
El cantautor se presentó la noche del sábado en Los Ángeles, California como parte de la gira "MeXXIco es todo", en el que mostró toda su vitalidad y entrega, y en el que recalcó de principio a fin su orgullo por México.
Uno de los cantautores más prolífico en la historia mexicana, con alrededor de mil 800 canciones, se presentó ante 17 mil 500 asistentes en el Forum de Inglewood, de California, donde se le veía vital y entero a sus 66 años.
Uno de sus últimos trabajos musicales fue el lanzamiento de un álbum tributo al grupo de rock Creedence, con "Gracias al sol", su versón al tema "Have You Ever Seen The Rain?" de Creedence Clearwater Revival.
Alberto Aguilera era hijo de Gabriel Aguilera Rodríguez y de Victoria Valadés Rojas, ambos campesinos. Fue el menor de un total de diez hermanos.
El cantante y compositor, quien también fue conocido como 'El Divo de Juárez', logró fama en México y diversas partes del mundo con temas como 'Se me olvidó otra vez', 'Amor eterno' y 'Noa noa', además de recibir numerosos premios y reconocimientos por su exitosa carrera.
Con más de 35 discos y 40 años de trayectoria artística, sus composiciones fueron la banda sonora de millones de mexicanos de diversas generaciones
En sus inicios, Juan Gabriel se presentó en antros de bajo perfil, palenques, hasta escenarios como el Madison Square Garden, en Nueva York, o el Palacio de Bellas Artes.
La vastedad de su acervo es desconocida incluso para él, pero se cuentan más de mil piezas grabadas por más de 800 artistas en idiomas como japonés, portugués, alemán, italiano, turco, inglés y francés.
