Late last year, Qweekend magazine celebrated its 10th birthday, and like any ten-year-old, it’s growing. ​It still has the same Qweekend content and features that readers love, but now, with more great stories to tell, and more fascinating local inhabitants to meet, it’s time to move up to a bigger and better format.

Merging two flagship brands into one hero publication.
All brands must re-invent as the needs and interests of readers evolve, so we’re merging two of our flagships, Canvas and Qweekend to create a Saturday read that’s unlike anything we’ve ever done before. 

We know that Qweekend readers are interested in the world they live in. They also like to travel, to go to the theatre and ballet. They read books, visit galleries and like to dine out. They’re the people who also read Canvas. So combining all of the best things from Canvas with Qweekend’s aspirational content allows us to offer a single magazine with everything that this high-value group of readers want, all in an easier-to-read one-stop publication.
