When is a birthday not a birthday? When it's not the day on which someone was born.
Ivanka Trump was the butt of more than a few jokes after she appeared to misunderstand the meaning of the word "birthday" in the latest post on her newly pleasure-not-business Twitter account.

Ivanka Trump roasted over baby birthday tweet
Debate is raging on social media as to whether Ivanka Trump should be celebrating her son Theodore's eight-months as a birthday.
The daughter of the US president-elect was subject to a light roasting after wishing a "happy birthday" to her eight-month-old, Theodore, who was, by function of only being eight months old... not celebrating a birthday.
I cannot believe that Theodore is 8 months old today! Happy birthday little teddy bear! 🐻🍰🍼 pic.twitter.com/j6EpYVQDSd

Ms Trump posted the message, "I cannot believe that Theodore is 8 months old today! Happy birthday little teddy bear!" to her account on Sunday.
Twitter users were quick to pull her up on the odd phrasing.

But, the businesswoman was able to virtually laugh off the mishap, responding to one of the less savage corrections.
"Lol," she tweeted. "Of course, you are right! Only in a baby's first year of life would a parent 'celebrate' a child's birthday on a monthly basis!"

Ms Trump's Twitter account was in the news last week, when she opened a separate social media account for her business endeavours, following conflict of interest concerns about her mixing business and pleasure (read: politics) on the site.
She had previously been criticised for tweeting a link to the dress she wore at the Republican National Convention in July, urging followers to "Shop Ivanka's look".
Since the announcement, Ms Trump's account, which was already often used as a place for her to post pictures of Theodore and her two older children, Arabella, five, and Joseph, three, has taken a distinctly familial route.
On Friday, she posted a picture of Arabella playing on a swing at Thanksgiving.
