Sydney has finally snapped up enough tickets to Adele's concert on March 10 for tour promoters to put a second show on sale.

Melbourne and Brisbane gobbled up the tickets to their first Adele shows in about half an hour, but Sydney approached their ticket buying cautiously and took all week to shift the 80,000 seats.

But now those who were perhaps waiting for a better seat to become available at ANZ Stadium need wait no more.

Live Nation, who are bringing Adele to Australia for her maiden tour, have announced she will play a second night in Sydney on March 11.

ANZ Stadium is the largest venue the 28-year-old Brit will play in Australia with 90,000 people squashing into the venue.

Now another 90,000 can sit on the Ticketek website for a few hours to secure their seats to the show.

All up nearly half-a-million people will have seen Adele in Australia by the time she drops the curtain on her final show here in Melbourne on March 19.

Tickets to the March 11 show go on sale through Ticketek at noon on December 1.
