Crumb - So Tired

The jazzy, sun-dazed rock of Boston four-piece Crumb have Portals pals and others pretty excited. "The musical equivalent of a lounge chair," says The Le Sigh. And a fittingly nonchalant "~ more to come ~" from their SoundCloud bio.

Kingdom - Nothin (feat. Syd)

After working with Kelela and D∆WN, Los Angeles producer and Fade To Mind labelhead Kingdom will release a full-length of his own in the New Year. The Internet’s Syd Tha Kid features here on the lead, "a sharp and jittery dance-pop banger," says Stereogum.

Slumbers - Battle

The new EP from this Rochester, New York trio recounts transition—the end of school, a move to Nashville—with a woozy, harmonic and homespun charm. "Magnetically compelling," says Gold Flake Paint. Out on Austin's Sports Day Records.

The Courtneys - Silver Velvet

Stereogum sums up The Courtneys' sound well: "a bouncy brand of indie rock lacing in ’90s fuzz and feel-good vibes with an understated jagged edge." The Vancouver, BC-based band are readying their next LP on trailblazing New Zealand label Flying Nun.

Mr. Tophat feat. Robyn - Trust Me

Bandcamp
Stockholm producer Mr. Tophat and Swedish pop royalty Robyn take a deep dive into dark disco, surpassing nine minutes on each of the three tracks that make up their upcoming EP for highly-regarded Norwegian label Smalltown Supersound.

Redspencer - Ride It Out

Perks, the debut LP from Melbourne's Redspencer.
GOOD MIX

His new track is featured above, and here's the last time Kingdom and Fade To Mind took over Rinse FM.

GOOD READ

Quartz's eulogy for What.cd, the internet's greatest music archive:

"What.CD was an unprecedented cultural repository. It offered something close to the sum-total of humanity’s recorded musical output, organized and classified to near-perfection."

Thanks for listening!
