LACMA! Justin Scarred & Tyler Evans visit the Los Angeles County Museum of Art! LACMA is an amazing place with amazing art.It would be amazing to return, but perhaps we'll have to visit a different art museum next time.
For those who will most certainly ask, How do you get kicked out of an Art museum? Have fun. After asking repeatedly and making sure room by room that we were allowed to film, apparently one security guard didn't like the way we were appreciating the art and we were asked (not very politely) to leave. I'm actually about 99.9% sure it was Tyler's comment about Spaghetti that sealed our fate.

It's full of costumes, props, and original art from all his movies, along with strange and wonderful stuff from his private collection. I went to LACMA for a field trip with my art class and we then went off on our own. Los Angeles County Museum of Art
The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is an art museum located on Wilshire Boulevard in the Miracle Mile vicinity of Los Angeles. LACMA is on Museum Row, adjacent to the La Brea Tar Pits (George C. Page Museum).
LACMA is the largest art museum in the western United States. It attracts nearly a million visitors annually. It holds more than 150,000 works spanning the history of art from ancient times to the present. In addition to art exhibits, the museum features film and concert series.
History
Early years
The Los Angeles County Museum of Art was established as a museum in 1961. Prior to this, LACMA was part of the Los Angeles Museum of History, Science and Art, founded in 1910 in Exposition Park near the University of Southern California. Howard F. Ahmanson, Sr., Anna Bing Arnold and Bart Lytton were the first principal patrons of the museum. Ahmanson made the lead donation of $2 million, convincing the museum board that sufficient funds could be raised to establish the new museum. In 1965 the museum moved to a new Wilshire Boulevard complex as an independent, art-focused institution, the largest new museum to be built in the United States after the National Gallery of Art.

LACMA! Justin Scarred & Tyler Evans visit the Los Angeles County Museum of Art! LACMA is an amazing place with amazing art.It would be amazing to return, but perhaps we'll have to visit a different art museum next time.
For those who will most certainly ask, How do you get kicked out of an Art museum? Have fun. Parafraseando la placa de este bello trabajo de arte , dice Chris Burden quien nacio en el ano de 1946 ,que son 202 lamparas de babito y hierro que fueron rescatadas o sea restauradas y que datan de los 1920s , y que en su tiempo fueron los postes o lamparas que servían de iluminación publica en las calles de los Ángeles y ciudades adyacentes. Hoy en día según el artista caminar entre ellas es como sentir que caminas por las calles de Grecia o de Roma o de alguna catedral Europea , la obra se llama luces urbanas y fue donada en el ano de el 2008 por la familia y Fundación Gordon

The J. Paul Getty Museum at the Getty Center is a favorite. The collection of Western art spans from the middle ages to today and includes work by masters like Ruben, Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Monet, and Manet.
There’s also the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, which is the biggest art museum in the western United States. The vast collection contains art from all over the world from different time periods, in a variety of mediums.
The Museum of Contemporary Art is the place to go for modern American and European art. Here you’ll find work by prestigious artists like Rothko, Rauschenberg, Hockney, de Kooning, and many more.
If you’re a museum-goer but art’s not your thing, visit the California Science Center to see the collection of aircraft, spacecraft, and robotic spacecraft. You can even see the Space Shuttle Endeavor here.
Or visit the Page Museum to see the La Brea Tar Pits, an excavation site of Ice Age fossils. The fossils themselves are displayed in the museum, where you can also learn about the history of the tar pits.
