Lipstick and Batons
Over the last few days there has been a spotlight on police blogs and books from the mainstream media , that aside you must read Bloggs book.
Its not a lawful order but it sure is a collective sigh across the board knowing that we are not alone in the mourning of the loss of common sense. I have chuckled and laughed for the last few days on the train and disturbed the suits and commuters on the daily grind.
Published by Monday books which also set the flagship police blog - to book Wasting police time by the original torch bearer David Copperfield ( STU ! ) , Diary of an On-call Girl: True Stories from the Front Line is a smashing read of the work at the coal face uniformed officers who are the workhorse of 21st Century policing in Britain today.
It will not teach you how to avoid arrest or even how to sweet talk at the roadside, but it does give you an accurate and factual reflection on what really goes on behind the warrant card.
