While there’s only one way to skin a cat, there are in fact three ways to feed a toddler.
1. Make your own healthy versions of crappy things like fish fingers and chicken nuggets.
2. Hide the vegetables: in the sauce, the patties, the sausage rolls et al.
3. Give them finger foods: for some reason this provides them with the illusion that THEY are in control and consequently makes them more likely to eat it.
With that in mind, here are 20 recipes for toddlers that employ these three strategies and will help you do battle at dinner time.
1. Healthy chicken nuggets
If they MUST subsist on chicken nuggets alone, at least you know these are actually CHICKEN nuggets. Make a big batch and freeze them: dinner in a jiffy!
