Maybe the 2015 version was better? Lots more content than last year and possibly the best of the Slam apps, but not without its niggles. The Favourites feature doesn't actually seem to track my favs and produce notifications like the 2015 version did and the My Wimbledon updates seems to be a bit hit'n'miss whether it will actually list anything or not. That said, it allows easy access to scores and news on the move which what I want!

Nice app but fixes required (Push) notifications still not working because as soon as I leave the app, it automatically closes instead of running in the background. I have to go to my home screen and tap the icon again to check scores. It doesn't show up in recent/open apps. Please fix ASAP as I and many others rely on this app to know when to tune in. If you could offer the option of different ringtones for different player notifications, that'd be amazing. UI is nice but I prefer the side swipe menu to be a list instead of grid.

Each year this app gets worse Clunky, over-glitzy and unintuitive. A great example of how not to do an event app. Also, fails to update and updates can't be forced, so quite often today's date doesn't even appear in the day list. Notifications are irritating and pointless, and can't be turned off from within the app, you have to block them in your phone settings to get rid. Pretty much useless this year.

Slow and unreliable This app often takes a long time to load, resets so keeps updating with all sorts even when no updates selected. It says there is no play when play is in progress and often a few hours delay giving results when matches have finished

A big downgrade from last year's app This app is getting worse each year. It's a big downgrade. Not only is there this annoying 'my Wimbledon story' which I have no use for. All I care about are the scores and results, the Daily schedule, and the draws. Also what's up with showing both fahrenheit and celcius? Why not let us choose or show celcius first. I believe it's more common anyway...

Love the updates on my favourite players Great app, keeps me up to date when I'm out and about. Very easy to use. Only one little niggle, can we have the country the players are from along with their names in the list of players. I don't always know the less well known players from GB but like to follow them.

I love watching the seniors and invitation matches as well as the usual stuff but this app gives no information about any other matches than the championship and girls/boys matches. I'm so unhappy not to have the info/ stats etc about the older players I grew up with.
Poorly designed, not functional The app has no way to manually refresh the data, so when you want to see the latest results or the just-released order of play for tomorrow, you're out of luck. It's also painfully slow. Save yourself time and frustration by going to the website.
Too complicated keep it simple Last years app was better, this year is more options, wants my GPS location all the time I open it which uses more battery, kept telling me all play was suspended even when I was in centre court with play going on. We need scores, updated order of play - have a lite option for this as well as the all features version.
Loved it! I was able to keep up with all scores, news and updates. This app had much fewer issues than previous versions which crashed my phone frequently. This one waa very responsive, faster and very easy to use
Over-Cooked, Poorly Executed This is what happens when you throw too much money and too many programmers at a project. Shockingly bad experience. 1. It's slow. Even with one of the fastest phones on the planet, this app takes 6-7 seconds to start and then open to a zero-info screen. 2. Shockingly stupid alerts. Match update alerts go to home screen, don't update themselves, therefore multiple per match, mostly out of date. Default alert level: dozens of alerts. I'm busy. This app wastes my time aggressively.
The app is disappointing. Most of the time the results are not up to date. The scores from the match won't be in the live scores or the results and the match will have been completed for hours. Try to update the day for the result and the day is not in the list to chose from sometimes and even if it is when I chose the day the many scores did not show up. Now I just go to the website or another site for all the results.
Gave away the results in a notification! This app sent me a notification of the djokovic v querrer match but I had it recorded :( notifications of a sports app shouldn't give away the result unless you opt in.
Mostly very good but slow to release order of play. I can get it on sky sports first. Too many notifications for favourite players I don't need to know when they arrive on court when warming up and when the match starts
Shows out of date information Every morning it gives me yesterday's order of play and there's no way to refresh, and no indication that it's trying to. Repeatedly switching between scores and order of play seems to force it to update, but this is a very poor design. Surely you can do better than this - it's only once every year people need this app.
Its good but needs improvement The news, pics, videos section should be separated like it was in previous years. I wanted to watch delpoVSwaw highlights after the day ended and it took me an eternity to find that video.
Great, with a few bugs The app is fantastic, save for a few minor things. It loads slowly and I can't find the settings to turn off notifications (had to do it in my phone's settings). Other than that, love the tiled menu and the breadth of what's covered.
Clumsy to use. Everything that should be accesible is hidden behind 3 more clicks for no reason. After using it for a couple of days it becomes quite annoying, although it works. Also, matches "disappear" for a while after they finish.
Too many frills make finding info annoying Heart always sinks when I see an official app for the majors is by IBM. It is all very pretty with lots of info for people going to the event but I want to see the draw, the seeds in order, points and prize money, what country a player is from etc without having to look through every screen - pretty much I want the standard ATP WTA app format.
EDIT: 2016 edition is better than ever! How can this app keep getting better, yet the French Open app is just a useless pile of junk. The Wimbledon app is classy looking, a delight to use and actually useful. Thanks for listening and making it much more a fan resource, E.g by linking from the draws to the player bios...yes! Player bios now show their tournament matches in a nice side-scrolling section towards the bottom. One can set favourite countries as well as players. One can filter schedules and draws by favourites. The design is a brilliant blend of beauty and genuine functionality. Well done!!
Love this app this year (2016)... I've been using this app since 2013. It has had its ups & downs. But this year, wow! Everything seems to be working well. Amazing features this year are really fun to explore. Thank you for a great app. 😊 👍👏
Was better last year Doesn't seem to know what day it is which isn't ideal. Also the press conference videos are useless as you have no idea what question the players are responding to resulting in a few minutes of random statements by the players!
Needs improvement Bloated with unnecessary personalizing options. We simply need an app to see what's going now and which matches are finished or coming up, without extra klicks
Pretty wretched this year Way too cluttered - player photos with scores means it takes forever to get to outside court updates. Radio layout is poor - hard to find exactly where to touch in order to connect, which combined with frequent connection loss makes listening way too much work. And rearranging the home screen layout halfway through the tournament is just not cool. You've done much better in previous years.
Worst app I've seen for Grand Slam Tournament It's rubbish! Looked in Scores & Results section today (6 July) and the best it could do was give results for day 4 (30 June). Not good enough for UK's premier tournament.
Soooo Sloooooow Not very well designed at all. In-app updates are slow, title screen is usually incorrect with it's match information, IBM slam tracker is horribly slow in loading (if it actually loads at all). Hopefully 2017 doesn't get even worse because it has definitely taken a few steps backwards.
Magnifying glass The text size in daily play is nearly illegible! The complex layout is also a pain... KISS- Keep It Simple Stupid.
Well it looks nice but why do I get 6 notifications for a single match? Where are the settings to turn this crap off? Has become infuriating.
This app should be excellent and have the latest information. I do not understand why live scores would sometimes be static or worse revert to a previous score. Glad it was free though.
Only gripe is that when you're swiping across the draws, the names don't line up so, if you're trying to track a player's progress through the tournament, you have to go hunting for the name. Otherwise very good, look forward to next year!
Would love to love it "but".... Edit from 2013 where basic info like the men's final start time was omitted. Now 2015 and you need to use the BBC sport App to find out when Murray's first match is. Shame, 'looked' good. Sticking with the BBC, Uninstalling. Now 2016 and no live matches during Federer v Raonic when both selected as favourites... Rubbish
Not "live" way behind what's actually occurring Bit slow to update & behind what's actually happening! For example said "play suspended" when I'm sat watching live tennis on BBC! It's over complicated now, keep things simple. Notifications set as the default is a bad idea. The app was better last year! Case of "if it's not broke don't fix it"! BBC website a better choice for up to date coverage. Overall, a bit disappointing.
Good for the Tennis Good app for me. Easy to use and gave me updates on my lock screen. I had no issues as someone else said. I have a new phone j5 so maybe it was a problem with a diferent model.
Too much information Keep it simple! Cut all the unnecessary trivial gossipy bits Should be able to select which level you want to see, not necessarily follow. Also facility to select which court.
Live scores a bit buggy A great app with a nice easy to use interface. Great coverage and as always Slamtracker is great! One issue is that the live scores tab is sometimes buggy, it shows no matches in progress when there are matches going on at times.
Currently Unusable Current version has a bug that loads the browser with a Rolex clock in it. if I close the browser it just opens again after a few seconds. Moto E (2nd Gen). Fix the bug for updated rating. Has worked fine in previous years
Wimbledon My Wimbledon Tennis app. Down rated. I just want to be able to look up draws and matches, maybe some statistics, watch some matches, maybe listen some crapped reporting and comments. I really do not care about every single persons experience or opinion. Cut out the fluff on apps these days! !!!!!!
Got potential I like this app, but there are too many little bugs. For example, I like that you can favourite different players for notifications, but for some reason you don't get updates when they play doubles and you get two notifications if you have favourited two players who are playing each other. If the bugs can get sorted then next year's Wimbledon app will be great!
Doesn't work I tried many times to use it but always was slow, it took a lot of time to open and update results or order of play. Older version worked better.
Not as good as previous years It didn't always update to the next days play. Too complicated I think. Keep it simple
