Best app ever After my phone and laptop died days apart, I found I had lost a lot of valuables including all of my daughters 35 year old baby photos. I retrieved a lot back from google photos but was at a loss as to how to use it properly. I immediately installed Dropbox on my new devices and never looked back. It's user friendly, easy to organise from any device and a sheer relief to know I will never lose anything ever again. This is a must for anyone who finds other cloud storage a little complicated to deal with.

Fantastic app - works as expected Updated to v24.2.2 but what's changed? PLEASE give us some relevant Information rather than: "Thanks for using Dropbox! We regularly release updates to the Play Store. Get the newest features and bug fixes by updating to the latest version." On HTC One [m7] 4g Vodafone, Android 5.0.2, HTC Sense 6.0, SmartLauncher 3.23.20(beta).

Invisible Text Entry! I have Dropbox working fine on my Windows PC so I've just installed the Android App on my Hudl tablet. Unfortunately any attempt to login is thwarted by having no visible text. The text appears to be the same colour as the background, it is white on white! It's UNUSABLE.

The best! You can't get a better app for you're Android phone. I've used many similar apps and they don't come close. The auto upload feature really helps set it apart from the other's. Any picture or video you take is backed up along with what you already may have on you're device. You can't go wrong with this service. It's also so easy to share one file or multiple files with links to a file or folder. As well as shared folders. I like the new update. DropBox just gets better and better.

Offline files STILL don't work While online it says "all files are up to date". One minute later, I will go offline to test it, and every offline file that I try to open gives me "can't connect to Dropbox. Make sure you're online, or try again later". Whaaat? "Make sure you're online"!?! So apparently I have to be online to open offline files?... :-/

Great service marred by occasional tone-deafness Why on earth isn't there a setting to disable the "camera uploads paused" notifications that occur all the time if one only uploads over wifi and/or when charging? I don't need to be notified of that. Still a good service. I've been a pro subscriber for years despite little quirks like this.

Great, except files on phone not updated After an update (several updates ago), my phone DropBox isn't accurate. It shows files that were deleted long ago and, if I try to delete on my phone I get an error. This is after reinstall and even a new phone. Otherwise, great app
Slow updates compared to iPhone For months now you have been able to scan a document with your phone camera and save it as a PDF all within the Dropbox app. Still not available on Android. Shame!!!
Cant upload. Update apk errror I have the latest apk, but it says I need it. It appears that app for android is virtually useless without a PC to sync too. Can't access cloud storage or Photos without complying to set up computer. So, unless I'm missing something, I can't just use dropbox to backup phone, without also having a PC to sync too?? Wish I knew before installing.
Impossible to log in Same issue as Charles. App is useless. No visible text on what I presume is log in screen so no clues as to what to input and where! I too am using Hudl2. Dropbox used to work fine but have had this problem for a few weeks. Please fix ASAP. I like Dropbox and want to use it but I can't on my Hudl.
Trying to backup the folders in my Gallery and it's slow and hard work. Taking me forever to get my head around how this app works other than the auto upload on my main camera folder. 1star, would give it zero if could
Terribly slow I have 20M boradband. Can always download upload in a blink, until I work with dropbox. Uploading 11MB took me 30minutes! Dropbox server speed is like dribbling ......
Very limited. Although I can access files in the cloud, I am unable to sync a local folder to the cloud. Why do I need a 3rd party app like Autosync-Dropbox to have this most basic functionality? Makes no sense. 👎
still useless Won't allow a 7 megabyte mp3 file be uploaded pretty remarkable this has been a problem for months no problem uploading to Box Drive or Microsoft, one drive, storage you can't use, novel concept, not such a good business model
Most unintuitive app I have ever tried to use I just hate when someone sends me stuff on Dropbox. I spend ages trying to get it to open and getting the polite but uninformative error message, before I finally give up
Storage disappointment When I purchased a new phone, dropbox "gave" me increased storage as a "bonus". What they neglected to say that the increased storage was only for a year so imagine my surprise when I was notified 3 days before expiration that I would be over my limit and needed to purchase an upgrade! Luckily I have Amazon Prime and was able to transfer enough files to UNLIMITED Amazon Cloud. Just purchased a new laptop and got the same promise of expanded dropbox space but not falling for it this time!
drop box complaint Dropbox is nt working fine on my s4 Samsung and av done update from play store. it always send me msg that unfortunately Dropbox has stop working
How about a proper changelog?! We realize that being a market leader you simply don't give a f$# k but this is Androidland. We care about user choice here. Write up a proper changelog instead of that insulting placeholder generic text you have there. And offer a tier between free and 1 tb like all the other cloud storage providers do. You are a greedy, stuck up company and you deserve to lose market share.
Constantly re-upload photos Works great 75% of the time. Whenever I restart my phone it re-uploads all my photos from my phone again, using all space and vast amounts of data. Huge pain. Reported weeks ago.
Indispensable Makes all of my files available to me on all of my devices anywhere I go. Solid, reliable, just works, no ads, and it leaves me alone when I am not using it. What's not to love?
Can't Add Device Folders I guess the only drawback with Dropbox is not being able to add my device selected folders for realtime sync. When clicked, it takes me to files. On this I think Degoo is flawless.
An excellent virtual cloud Never had an issue not one, uploads are quick and all my stuff is laid out in an orderly easy to use format that allows me transparent utilization of all my devices...PC, tablet and phones. Thanks Dropbox for having such a good app.
Dropbox Perfect for me haven't had any problems on my Samsung galaxie note3yet, this app I've been using on my cells for the past7 years or so. Keep up the good work and deserves a5star from me.
I don't like the fact that I cannot upload multiple pictures in one go😒😒. You will need to pick one then upload, then another one. And if I use the gallery and share all of my picture's to Dropbox, it will say that it failed and I have to use the exact app to do so😒. Downgraded it😛
Convenient Works fine and is a convenient enough way to have access to a bunch of files on any device. It loses a star for not having a public change log for updates that I can find; instead they use a lazy umbrella update statement trying to paint a picture where all updates are good updates and we should accept them blindly. They also lose a star for not having a dark theme in the app; it's all painfully white.
According to Dropbox, there is no file size limit for files saved to Dropbox via the desktop application or mobile apps, provided your account has enough room. Files uploaded through the website, however, are capped at 10GB.
Docs load on my PC but don't sync with my tablet I tried using this to share docs between my home PC and tablet. I can save files to my PC Dropbox but it takes them DAYS to show up in my mobile Dropbox! Does me no good when I need immediate access to my files.
Not impressed. Buggy. Taken me a while to get around to trying this app out and now I have I'm looking for an alternative. I have to keep resetting PW and most of the time when trying to upload it takes many attempts before it gets on with the job?
Does as advertised The UI is simple and very easy to navigate. Only issue I have, it's more of Dropbox itself. I can't upload certain files. Other than that the new icon looks spiffy.
Reasonable Pretty good except I wish there was like an advanced interface ... really not enough smarts as far as remembering what folder to upload to or what history to show and so on
Works great Totally helps me have storage. Even though I have only had it for a couple of days I still give it a thumbs up. I would totally recommend this.
Camera upload does not work Camera upload is not working it shows that link a computer or upgrade your Dropbox. What should I do?
Dropbox Best app ever if you lost your phone or had it stolen. You still got access to all your photos and documents that was stored. Love it
Useful App Really great app. Easily use and transfer data without any hard drive. Upload data in one devic & u can see data easily in all device at any where whether laptop, PC or any other smartphone. Excellent...
What a wonderful app. I buy storage but I can use it on all my devices. I put study guides on here for my kids so we have the I forgot issues to study.
Shady Why would anyone who hides a data breach hide a changelog? Nothing suspicious there. 😉
It's Okay I take alot of pictured and wish there was more storage. I wouldn't pay for storage when there's apps that allow more storage for free.
B Swart Some idea of what updates are being installed would help. Frequent (possibly unwarranted) updates occur with absolutely no idea of where the data goes that is being paid for by the user.
wtf? why in the hell don't you make it easier to transfer pics and files back to your phone?
Was great when it was FREE I use to have tons of pictures backed up automatically from my old phones, but with recent "improvements" I now have to PURCHASE the pro version to have my photos backed up automatically. UNINSTALL.
