I started this channel to highlight the incredible style of House music that came out of NYC back around the year 2000. Since that time current releases of dance music have paled in comparison to what was being released back then. It’s my goal to bring to attention this style of music and help revive it so we can enjoy hearing these wonderful sounds again. If you were part of discovering this music back then and have reconnected with it again I’m really gratified to have helped assist you. If you are discovering this music for the first time I’m really glad to have introduced you to it.
‘MHR’ stands for Melodic House Renaissance. I’d say this music is in need of a good Renaissance right about now.
I have plans to start a new record label (MHRrecords) and get new music created by hiring the people who made these great tracks. The United Nations human rights chief is urging Japan to come clean on its sexual enslavement of women before and during World War Two.
Navi Pillay′s comments,... in an interview with Korea′s Yonhap News Agency... come... as she wraps up her six-year term as the UN high commissioner for human rights on Monday.
Pillay said... Tokyo should take "immediate and effective legislative and administrative measures... to ensure every allegation of sexual slavery is investigated."
She expressed regret at the lack of progress on the issue... while the victims have been passing away and stressed the importance of education in Japan on the matter.
More than 200-thousand women, many Korean, were forced to serve Japanese troops as sex slaves in the early 20th century.

Tina Ann
Tina Ann Amato is a classically trained vocalist from Long Island, New York who has had success on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play and Hot Dance Airplay charts. Under her full name of Tina A. Amato, she writes much of her own material, her music fitting into the dance-pop and Eurodance genres.
In 2000, she hit number 1 with "Don't Want Another Man", produced by Dynamix. She then had several hits on her own: "In My Dreams" (#22 in 2001) and "I Do" (#10 in 2003). Her hit single, "Rise Again" followed in 2005. All of her singles are included in her 2003 album Situations, involving various producers, such as The Orange Factory and her father, Sal Amato, as executive producer.
Her version of Mike + The Mechanics' "All I Need Is a Miracle" is included in the 2004 release by Bad Boy Joe, The Best of NYC Vocal Clubhouse: 1 AM Sessions, which also features performances by Deborah Cox and Melanie C, among others.

The United Nations human rights chief is urging Japan to come clean on its sexual enslavement of women before and during World War Two. Navi Pillay′s comments,... in an interview with Korea′s Yonhap News Agency... come... as she wraps up her six-year term as the UN high commissioner for human rights on Monday. Pillay said... Tokyo should take "immediate and effective legislative and administrative measures... to ensure every allegation of sexual slavery is investigated." She expressed regret at the lack of progress on the issue... while the victims have been passing away and stressed the importance of education in Japan on the matter. More than 200-thousand women, many Korean, were forced to serve Japanese troops as sex slaves in the early 20th century.
