John Richard Deacon (born 19 August 1951) is a retired English musician, best known as the bass guitarist for the rock band Queen. He composed several of Queen's hit singles, including "You're My Best Friend", "Another One Bites The Dust" and "I Want To Break Free", and was involved in the group's financial management.
Deacon grew up in Oadby, Leicestershire, playing bass in a local band, The Opposition, before moving to study electronics in Chelsea College, London. He became Queen's fourth bass player in 1971 aged 19 on the strength of his quiet demeanour and electronic skills, particularly the home-made Deacy Amp which guitarist Brian May used to create guitar orchestras throughout Queen's career. From the third album, Sheer Heart Attack onwards, he wrote at least one song per album, several of which became hits. His song "Another One Bites the Dust" became the group's best selling single in the US. As well as bass, Deacon played some guitar and keyboards on Queen's studio work, but was the only member never to sing on their records.

Plot: On July 8th, 2007, April Deacon placed a want ad on craigslist asking for help in making a documentary about her father's highly publicized and heavily scrutinized release from prison. April felt that the media was treating her father unfairly and wanted to take some action to clear her innocent father's name. April and her brother Aden had already begun shooting some introductory scenes with her own Panionic handi-cam. A few of these scenes were included in the film's final cut and act as an introduction to her father's story. Within a few days, a small production crew (82Films) took on her project. Paul Medico and Sean O'Connor served as directors and Amanda McGrady as producer. April also joined as producer and general consultant. The crew shot on two Canon XH-A1 High Definition cameras. Principal photography took place over four weeks from July 10th- August 7th (including April original footage). Filming took place in and around Greater Boston.

Easy to make and use, a micro-adjustable table saw box joint jig. While anyone could use this design, it's aimed at table saws without thick blades or dado stacks. It works as an addition to your cross cut sled. Setting up and using the jig are described in more detail in a Part 2 video (https://youtu.be/etztRqAtp14). There is also a Part 3 (https://youtu.be/0CiZEiaM6zs) in which a clamp for small workpieces is added. If you're thinking of building this and aren't going to watch the Part 2 video (why not?), then you should watch this short update: https://youtu.be/qR-KqfESg24 A project video: http://www.clapham-locksmiths.co.uk/projects/simple-micro-adjustable-box-joint-jig.php (If you're trying to see the web page from a mobile you may need to Request Desktop Site.)
