Usage Instructions

Once you boot up the instance the server is immediately accessible via browser:http://<instance ip address>:5080(replace the <instance ip address> with the actual ip address of the running EC2 instance).Demo applications are available at this address.To immediately begin streaming content, login with any FTP client using sFTP. The default username will be ubuntu. Once logged in you will see a "streams"directory. Place your videos in this directly and they will be accessible via ramp://<instance ip address>/file.mp4(replace the <instance ip address> with the actual ip address of the running EC2 instance).You can also login via SSH with the username 'ubuntu' and your private key file. There is a script pre-installed on the server located at: /etc/init.d/red5. You can start,stop,and restart the server via this script, eg. sudo /etc/init.d/red5 restart.Webapps are installable via the web apps directory.
