AUSTRALIA’S music A-listers lived up to their reputation for partying like rock stars as they partied into the early hours after the ARIA Awards.

Music’s night of nights was an opportunity for the industry to let its hair down, and it certainly did.

While record label minders did their best to keep Sydney Confidential out of the inner sanctums of their official afterparties, we did our best to sneak in and gather some goss.

Hook-ups, fights and frivolities went down as our top pop stars and rockers partied the night away across Sydney at four official post-ARIA parties.

With the actual awards held at The Star Event Centre, the official afterparty was at Marquee’s main room, where Sony Music took over the club’s Boom Box area.

Warner Music hosted its talent and guests at The Basement Lot 1 in the CBD, while Universal Music took over the Intercontinental hotel rooftop.

Confidential was chuffed for Kasey Chambers, who was spotted with a much younger man on her arm for most of the night. Subsequent investigations revealed Chambers’ date was 20-year-old drummer Josh Dufficy, though record label representatives yesterday denied there was any romance. The pair were snapped jumping into a cab together just after 3am.

Comedian Joel Creasey was spotted getting flirty with socialite Christian Wilkins, who sells himself on the scene as “Prince Wilkins” as the son of Today show entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins. Sources reported the guys were getting more than friendly at Universal’s party.

Creasey was lucky to get into the event at all. Confidential spied the funnyman waiting in a long queue to get inside before he was spotted by organisers plucking celebrities out of the line to expedite their entrance. Obviously this didn’t go down well with others who were waiting patiently.

At Sony, one high profile female radio host, who is usually very careful with her words in public, didn’t hold back as she knocked back drinks into the early hours.

Back at Warner’s Lot 1 event, a staff member was roughed-up by one partygoer with an inflated ego. When the server told the guest that he had drunk too much, he was met with serious attitude.

It was a “don’t you know who I am” moment and unfortunately for the muso, Confidential watched the ugly scene unfold as he was escorted out of the party and told not to return.

If nothing else, Tim Robards is a great brand ambassador. The former reality star turned socialite must have been seriously busy on Wednesday as he Instagrammed a photo of himself eating his YouFoodz in the limo on the way to the ARIAs.

The meal, with all its branding, was strategically placed between Robards and his girlfriend Anna Heinrich as the pair were driven to the event. Of course, he hashtagged the brand in the post.

X Factor singer Nat Conway wasn’t as prepared. She snuck out of the awards ceremony to enjoy a spot of Chinese food at The Century downstairs with a girlfriend. A few spring rolls and some sweet ’n sour chicken later, she strolled back up the stairs in time for Sony’s after-party.

There, word spread of one D-list former TV presenter who had a meltdown before the red carpet when a store refused to have her last minute outfit couriered to a hotel at their expense.

Shannon Noll may put on a tough guy image, but he wasn’t afraid to pretty himself up with some makeup.

“I am, yeah. I only got three minutes with the stylist, but I’m starting to get older. If it wasn’t raining I’d have gotten away with it,” he said laughingly when quizzed on his “full face”.
