ABC Response: Vacant positions at the ABC are advertised on ABC Careers website and in the recruitment sections of major newspapers. Prospective employee profiles are not maintained for the purpose of matching these against potential vacancies. A resume or curriculum vitae will only be accepted in response to specific advertised vacancies.

What is the best course to do to get a job in the media industry?

ABC Response: There are many communications and media courses available. The ABC cannot recommend which course would be best for you. We suggest that you consult with your school’s career advisor or directly with an educational institution.

Where can I find information for my assignment?

ABC Response: The ABC does not have the resources to undertake research for student assignments. However, you may find that the information you require is already published on our history page. Is it possible to purchase a DVD of a program I watched on ABC television?

ABC Response: The ABC Shop stocks DVDs of many programs broadcast on ABC Television. To check program availability, visit the ABC Shop website. Programs not available at ABC Shop may be available through Non-Theatric Sales for purchase by the non-theatric educational marketplace in Australia and New Zealand.

How can I find the details of the music used in a television program?

ABC Response: Audience & Consumer Affairs may be able to provide this information. Please complete the online contact form. When emailing your enquiry, please provide the name of the program and the date it was broadcast.

Where can I find transcripts of National Press Club addresses?

ABC Response: The ABC does not hold the rights to provide transcripts or video copies of this program. The National Press Club website provides information about purchasing transcripts and DVDs of addresses. (Please note the ABC cannot guarantee content on external websites.)
