Kanye West’s ‘psychotic break’ is the latest low point for the men of the Kardashian women

GOING out with a Kardashian means a lot more than just being seen out and about with a glamorous brunette — it means dicing with danger — and sometimes death.

Reports claiming that Kanye West — husband of Kim Kardashian, the epicentre of the reality clan — has been hospitalised after suffering a ‘psychotic break’, mark another low point for the men who live alongside the Los Angeles socialites, according to The Sun.

media_cameraKanye has suffered a ‘psychotic break.’

The rapper has been taken to hospital for ‘his own safety’ after “sleep deprivation and dehydration” apparently got the better of him — and he cancelled his 22-date tour after a bizarre rant about Jay Z, Beyonce and Donald Trump.

But Kanye, 39, certainly isn’t the first man who has fallen under the Kardashian’s spell, or as some critics call it, the Kardashian Kurse.

As half-sister Kylie Jenner so poetically explained: “The Kardashian curse is every male figure that comes and dates a Kardashian, their life just goes downhill after that.”

Here we look at other men who might have been affected by the bewitching socialites.

Scott Disick

media_cameraScott has had a very troubled few years.

Kourtney’s long-term boyfriend and the father of her three children has a well publicised struggle with alcohol and drugs.

Back in June the reality of his cursed existence came to the fore on an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians when a psychic told him that he WAS cursed.

Before performing a ‘chicken ritual’, Scott, 33, explained: “I feel like anybody that’s dated any girls within her family has gotten some kind of curse.

“I feel like some curse has been put upon me along with a lot of other men that I’m close with.”

The psychic agreed, telling him: “Everything that you try to do, you have a tendency to have many obstacles in front of you. To answer your question, I would probably say you do have a curse.”

As well as being booted from the family pad, Scott lost his own parents in quick succession with his dad dying just three months after his mum — they were both 63.

Scott — an only child — went on to try and commit suicide, but refused to enter rehab to help him tackle his loss.

Lamar Odom

media_cameraLamar nearly died from a drug overdose last year.

Khloe and basketball star Lamar, 37, wed just one month after meeting at a party thrown by one of his Los Angeles Lakers teammates in 2011.

At the time he was at the top of his game, but it wasn’t long before things stalled and he was transferred to Texas to play for the Dallas Mavericks.

Bad news for the sportsman, but definitely great material for the Kardashian’s Juggernaut of a TV show.

Khloe filed for divorce in 2013, and both parties eventually signed the papers in 2015.

However, by the time Lamar had a crack cocaine-induced stroke at a brothel in Nevada, a judge hadn’t given them the final legal OK.

With Lamar in a coma, Khloe quickly withdrew the divorce, allowing her to make medical decisions on her estranged husband’s behalf.

The couple’s divorce was eventually finalised last month.

Caitlyn Jenner

media_camera‘Bruce’ hid from the world that he was transgender for years before emerging as Caitlyn.

For years Kris’ husband Bruce lived a lie, hiding from the world that he was transgender.

But in April 2015 — and after a lot of speculation — Bruce told the world that he was a trans woman, declaring: “for all intents and purposes, I’m a woman.”

It soon emerged that Bruce was ready to accept his true self decades ago — but then he met Kris and his life took a new path.

Caitlyn claimed that Kris forbid him from cross-dressing when they were together, but his daughters Kendall and Kylie later admitted they had caught their dad wearing strange clothes late at night around the house.

Since their 23-year marriage ended in 2015, Caitlyn has gone on to live a fulfilled life — but it’s not been without its dramas.

Caitlyn introduced herself to the world with a stunning Annie Liebovitz-shot Vanity Fair cover — a move that blindsided her then estranged wife and their combined brood of ten children.
