A training scene goes wrong in the pre-credits sequence for THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS (1987). Timothy Dalton was keen to do as many of his own stunts as possible. Stunt supervisor Paul Weston said: “I knew Timothy was strong enough to do the stunts, but it’s still a 1,300-foot drop down the side of the mountain if anything went wrong. It took great courage.”

Princess Diana and Prince Charles released a bunch of balloons into the air to celebrate the new James Bond film - "The Living Daylights" - and met the cast inside the Odeon on 29th of June in 1987. The exquisite fairytale dress that she wears here is one of my favourite from her collection. Must have been one of her favourites too as she wore it on several occasions with different sleeves variations :)

Hello beloved viewers! Someone thinks the inimitable Timothy Dalton is the best James Bond, but for me he is, first of all, the romantic and mysterious Mr. Rochester from Jane Eyre.
I remember the first time I saw the series on television and was simply struck by the incredible beauty of the protagonist with a heartfelt look. Of course, I was a schoolgirl then, and I could not adequately assess the acting: I saw only Dalton's charm and charisma, so to speak, I received aesthetic pleasure) But even now I remember this amazing feeling of happiness at the sight of my beloved character. And this dimple on the chin! Oh, how many memories flooded!
Since then, my love for this actor has not disappeared, I followed his work and, of course, his personal life. For some reason, it was thought that such an aristocratic handsome man should have hundreds of novels with the most famous divas. In principle, it was so. But not a single beloved inveterate bachelor did not lead down the aisle. And only one woman gave him a child, she turned out to be a Russian beauty named Oksana.

Timothy Dalton
Timothy Peter Dalton (born 21 March 1944 or 1946) is an English actor. He is known for portraying James Bond in The Living Daylights (1987) and Licence to Kill (1989), as well as Rhett Butler in the television miniseries Scarlett (1994).
Early life
Dalton was born in Colwyn Bay, Conwy, North Wales, to an English father, who was a captain in the Special Operations Executive during the Second World War and was an advertising executive at the time of his son's birth. Before his fourth birthday, the family moved back to England to Belper in Derbyshire. While in Belper, he attended the Herbert Strutt Grammar School. As a teenager, he was a member of the Air Training Corps at LXX (Croft & Culcheth) Squadron. He decided to become an actor at 16 after seeing a production of Macbeth and got a role in a production of the play at The Old Vic. He left school in 1964 to enrol in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and tour with the National Youth Theatre. Dalton did not complete his RADA studies, leaving the academy in 1966 to join the ensemble of the Birmingham Repertory Theatre.

A training scene goes wrong in the pre-credits sequence for THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS (1987). Timothy Dalton was keen to do as many of his own stunts as possible. Stunt supervisor Paul Weston said: “I knew Timothy was strong enough to do the stunts, but it’s still a 1,300-foot drop down the side of the mountain if anything went wrong. It took great courage.”

Princess Diana and Prince Charles released a bunch of balloons into the air to celebrate the new James Bond film - "The Living Daylights" - and met the cast inside the Odeon on 29th of June in 1987. The exquisite fairytale dress that she wears here is one of my favourite from her collection. Must have been one of her favourites too as she wore it on several occasions with different sleeves variations :)

Hello beloved viewers! Someone thinks the inimitable Timothy Dalton is the best James Bond, but for me he is, first of all, the romantic and mysterious Mr. Rochester from Jane Eyre.
I remember the first time I saw the series on television and was simply struck by the incredible beauty of the protagonist with a heartfelt look. Of course, I was a schoolgirl then, and I could not adequately assess the acting: I saw only Dalton's charm and charisma, so to speak, I received aesthetic pleasure) But even now I remember this amazing feeling of happiness at the sight of my beloved character. And this dimple on the chin! Oh, how many memories flooded!
Since then, my love for this actor has not disappeared, I followed his work and, of course, his personal life. For some reason, it was thought that such an aristocratic handsome man should have hundreds of novels with the most famous divas. In principle, it was so. But not a single beloved inveterate bachelor did not lead down the aisle. And only one woman gave him a child, she turned out to be a Russian beauty named Oksana.

Dalton portrayed Bond in The Living Daylights (1987) and Licence to Kill (1989), the fifteenth and sixteenth entries in the franchise. Unlike Moore, who had played Bond as more of a light-hearted playboy, Dalton's portrayal of Bond was darker and more serious. Timothy Dalton
Timothy Peter Dalton (born 21 March 1944 or 1946) is an English actor. He is known for portraying James Bond in The Living Daylights (1987) and Licence to Kill (1989), as well as Rhett Butler in the television miniseries Scarlett (1994).
Early life
Dalton was born in Colwyn Bay, Conwy, North Wales, to an English father, who was a captain in the Special Operations Executive during the Second World War and was an advertising executive at the time of his son's birth. Before his fourth birthday, the family moved back to England to Belper in Derbyshire. While in Belper, he attended the Herbert Strutt Grammar School. As a teenager, he was a member of the Air Training Corps at LXX (Croft & Culcheth) Squadron. He decided to become an actor at 16 after seeing a production of Macbeth and got a role in a production of the play at The Old Vic. He left school in 1964 to enrol in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and tour with the National Youth Theatre. Dalton did not complete his RADA studies, leaving the academy in 1966 to join the ensemble of the Birmingham Repertory Theatre.
