The show featured two celebrity guests per episode and a studio audience. The guests discussed what is the 'king of' various categories.
On 24 June 2011, Channel 4 announced that King Of... was to be cut short due to Winkleman's pregnancy. The final 2 episodes, with Ruby Wax & Johnny Vegas and Billie Piper, were not recorded.
King of the Mountain may refer to:
In childhood games:
In film and television:
In music:
In other uses:
"King of the Mountain" the title of a song written by Larry Boone and Paul Nelson. First recorded in 1991 by George Jones for his album And Along Came Jones, the song was also cut by Boone on his 1993 album Get in Line.
It was later covered by American country music artist George Strait, and was released in December 1996 as the fourth and final single from his album Blue Clear Sky. The song reached #19 in the United States and number 27 in Canada. Even though the song was his lowest peaking single since 1992's, "Lovesick Blues", it was one of the most critically acclaimed country songs in years.
Deborah Evans Price, of Billboard magazine reviewed the song favorably, calling it a "lyrically powerful weeper, and Strait's performance exudes oceans of mournful regret."
"King of the Mountain" debuted at number 48 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks for the week of December 21, 1996.
"King of the Mountain" is a song by British singer-songwriter Kate Bush. Taken from her album Aerial, it was released in 2005 and is the album's only single. The song was written and produced by Bush.
"King of the Mountain" was released as a single by EMI Records on 24 October 2005, Bush's first single since "And So Is Love", which had been released 12 years before. It was first played on BBC Radio 2 on 21 September 2005. Written about ten years before most of the songs on Aerial, the lyrics enquire whether Elvis Presley might still be alive someplace, "...looking like a happy man..." and playing with "Rosebud", Kane's childhood's sled, and comment on the pressures of extreme fame and wealth. In a November 2005 interview with BBC Four's "Front Row" Bush said, "I don't think human beings are really built to withstand that kind of fame." Sung in a slightly slurred Elvis-type manner, the track was produced by Bush; the recording was engineered by Del Palmer and mastered by James Guthrie. The cover art is a drawing by her son Bertie.
KHTP (103.7 FM), also known as "Hot 103.7", is a Rhythmic Hot AC-formatted FM radio station in the Seattle, Washington market. The station broadcasts at 103.7 MHz and is owned and operated by Entercom Communications. The station's transmitting antenna is on Tiger Mountain, and operates from its studios at the Metropolitan Park complex in Downtown Seattle.
KHTP is also carried on the following satellite and broadcast translator stations to improve reception of the station:
103.7 FM first began broadcasting in 1958 as KTWR at 103.9 FM. In 1964, they changed their call letters to KTAC-FM and aired a contemporary format. In 1977, they changed their call letters to KBRD ("K-Bird FM 104"), switching to a beautiful music format, and upgraded to a stronger signal at 103.7 FM in 1981. At 2 p.m. on April 10, 1991, it flipped to its long running adult album alternative format as "The New FM 104 The Mountain" and the KMTT call letters. The first song on "The Mountain" was Rock Me on the Water by Jackson Browne. The former KBRD callsign is now on 680 AM in Olympia. The station did have some ratings issues for the first couple of years due to its transmitter location; this was changed when the transmitter relocated to Tiger Mountain. The station, while it was never #1 in Arbitron ratings books, did very well with certain demographics. However, as time went on, the station suffered a decline in ratings, especially after the introduction of the Portable People Meter in the Seattle market in 2009. Towards the later years of its format, KMTT was usually in the 2-low 3 share range.

This season was the last to feature Sanchez and Ristaino as storyboard artists; the former took a job on Clarence, and the latter became an Adventure Time background designer.
The Mountain (Turkish: Dağ) is a 2012 Turkish drama film directed by Alper Çağlar.
The film tells a fictional story in which a duty team sent from a troop to repair a field antenna suddenly falls into an ambush. One short and one long term soldier, the only ones to survive, finally put an end to the war between themselves and join hands for the struggle against the real enemy. Carrying only two rifles, four clips, a broken antenna and their survival instincts. The mountain is a heroic tale of two young soldiers who discover brotherhood and fortitude.
Oğuz from Istanbul, despite having a legal right and money to pay for a shorter period of military service, he chooses to do it for a longer time no matter what rest of the people around him imposes to do. One week before he is discharged, he finds himself in such a danger to test his courage.
Bekir, who wrangles constantly with Oğuz, has been a long term soldier. He gets on well with neither his commanders, nor his term friends. He has two additional years to be discharged because of his rebellious actions. However Bekir has pure and unconcerned courage; to be side by side and shoulder by shoulder with Oğuz against the ambush will be a hard test even for him. Having put aside their past animosity just before the raid, they will force limits of bravery in the hardest conditions, and fight together against terrorism, performing exploit in an isolated, freezing and wild area.
Here I review the ill-fated TNA Legends/Global/TV/King Of The Mountain title. I'm not sure which bit of it was most painful the D-Von title reign or the Robbie E reign. Oh or maybe the Rob Terry run, oh what am I saying it was all garbage. The soul tries out a thousand cures, in vain;
Since I was taken from my early road,
Vainly it worries how it can return.
The sea and the mountains, and the fire and the sword,
All these together, I live in their midst.
The mountain, he'll not leave me, who has seized
