This is a chronological list of world heavyweight boxing champions since the introduction of the Marquess of Queensberry rules in about 1895. It does not include fights fought under Jack Broughton's rules or the London Prize Ring Rules.
Champions were recognized by public acclamation. A champion in that era was a fighter who had a notable win over another fighter and kept winning afterward. Retirements or disputed results could lead to a championship being split among several men for periods of time. With only minor exceptions, the heavyweight division remained free from dual title-holders until the 1960s. For an early example, see the 1896 World Heavyweight Championship.
Impact Wrestling (formerly known as TNA iMPACT!; commonly referred to as Impact) is a professional wrestling television program produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA).
The show debuted in the United States on Fox Sports Net on June 4, 2004, but after TNA's contract was not renegotiated in May 2005, the show was left without a television network on which to broadcast. The show began broadcasting episodes via syndication in limited markets on Urban America Television (replacing TNA's syndicated show Xplosion) and on the Internet between June 24 and September 16, 2005, before securing a deal with Spike TV, with the first show airing on October 1, 2005.
Impact first began airing episodes on Saturday nights, before later moving to Thursday nights in April 2006. It briefly moved to Monday nights in 2010 and to Wednesday nights in 2014 until its final broadcast on Spike. In 2015, the show moved to Destination America, initially airing on Friday nights before moving back to Wednesday nights on June 3, 2015. It's final broadcast on Destination America was December 16, 2015 at 11pm ET.

WWF Championship Wrestling was a professional wrestling television program produced by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). It aired from 1972 to 1986 and was the original television show of the WWF. Originally produced under the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF) banner, Championship Wrestling featured all the stars of the WWF, interviews and championship matches. It was the flagship program of the WWWF/WWF's syndicated programming until it was replaced by Superstars of Wrestling in 1986.
This was the first WWF program to be shown on national broadcast television. Vince McMahon built the syndicated network in part by persuading local stations to pay for the rights to air the program. Stations like KPLR-TV in St. Louis and KHJ-TV (now KCAL) in Los Angeles reportedly paid $100,000 to air the show.
In its early years, the show was taped at the Philadelphia Arena and later at the Allentown Agricultural Hall in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Typically, three weeks of television were taped in one night. The final taping in Allentown took place on June 19, 1984, with the episodes airing June 30, July 7, and July 14. The tapings then moved to the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, New York until the final taping took place on August 5, 1986, with the final episode airing on August 30. The following week, WWF Superstars of Wrestling replaced Championship Wrestling as the WWF's new flagship syndicated program. In contrast to Championship Wrestling, the tapings for Superstars of Wrestling moved around the country and took place at larger arenas.
Championship Wrestling from Hollywood (CWFH) formerly (NWA Championship Wrestling from Hollywood) is a professional wrestling television program that airs on KDOC-TV Los Angeles in the United States. The series premiere was on September 17, 2010.
The promotion shoots a live TV taping, twice monthly. Starting with the December 4, 2011 taping, the promotion started filming at the Glendale Studios in Glendale, California. Before that, the Regent Showcase Theater in West Hollywood had been their home since November 2010. Previously, the Galaxy Theater in Santa Ana was their home venue. On 12 May 2012, NWA Hollywood ran its first non-TV event in its history, with Scorpio Sky vs. Nick Madrid as it main event.
Promotion President and on-camera interviewer is David Marquez.
The show was originally booked by Adam Pearce, who was in January 2011 replaced by Joey Ryan. On August 4, 2011, Ryan was relieved of his duties. After Ryan, David Lagana and Joe Franciosi were the bookers until Lagana was hired by TNA in late 2011. Angelo Trinidad joined Franciosi after Lagana's departure and the duo has booked the program since. The show is produced by Mike Coughlin, Peter Hernandez, Andrew Pulido, Stu Stone and Angelo Trinidad.
