Watch in HD!!!! My High School was on Spring break and that gave me some time to get out and do some railfanning, I ended up going to the BNSF at Galesburg, IL on a Thursday. I made one mistake while on this trip, I went up Wataga, IL along the Mendota Sub to try and get some trains in the good morning sun, BIG mistake. In the hour and twenty minutes I saw only I and it was a lousy 4 car Amtrak. Knowing that the Coal industry is really struggling and thats what mostly traverses that line, I should of gone somewhere else. After that miserable hour and twenty, I headed south to Saluda to catch a SB "Earthworm" Grain train. Notice the Conductor waving his General Track Bulletin papers out the window. I personally though he was gonna throw it to me but I guess I was wrong. After that I headed...

There was some really cool MOW equipment I caught at Turners and I have always wanted to see one of the things there. (They had recently laid new ballast at Turners.) It was a Plasser & Theurer Ballast Dynamic Tamping Express!!!! I was super excited to catch one in person! This unit was BNSF 938829. And I always wondered if BNSF actually owned these or not considering they are an out of country company. Aside from Plasser American which mostly likely made this unit. Even though it was not working, it was still lit up and I was able to get some pics and video of it! I might possibly get one of these for my layout one day. I think they go for $300.There was also some other equipment there including a Loram Ballast cleaning machine, and a Plasser American Ballast BDS-100. The BDS-100/200 is a...

For the past month and a half, I have been hitting the Cajon Pass non-stop. Finding new spots and racing up and down the Cajon sometimes multiple times a day. BNSF has assigned over 20 SD70ACes to the Barstow manifests. So I took advantage of that. Despite the recent fire, that didn't stop me from bringing you guys new videos. The recent addition to the BNSF SD70ACe's made me want to hit up the Cajon even more.
BNSF Rail Production Gang Ludlow, CA on the BNSF Needles Sub January 2014 Enjoy!
After 2 years I made a return to Flagstaff, AZ. Last time I went I stayed in my hotel room most of the time and didn't get decent shots. This time I made sure that didn't happen again. I traveled as far West as the station and as far East as Winona, AZ. Foreign power was outnumbered by BNSF. But what was foreign was a decent catch. And for foreign leaders, there are only 2 and they were an amazing catch since they were back to back. I ended the trip with a bonus shot of the Grand Canyon Railway. In all this trip was another memorable one and I hope you enjoy this.

It fell on a day, a bonnie, bonnie day,
When the corn, grew green and yellow,
That there fell out, a great dispute,
Between Argyll and Airlie
Argyll he's raised up, five hundred men,
Five hundred men, and many,
He's led 'em down to the bonnie Dunkell,
Made them shoot the bonnie house of Airlie
A Lady was looking, over the castle walls,
And oh, but she looks weary,
And there she spied, the gret Argll,
Come to plunder the bonnie house of Airlie
Come down, the stairs, Lady he said,
Come down and kiss me fairly,
I'll not come down, nor kiss you she said,
Though you won't leave, a standing stone at Airlie
I have but one favour, to ask of thee Argyll,
And I hope, that you will grant me fairly,
Oh take me down to some dark, dowry town,
Where I can't see, the plundering or Airlie
He's taken her by, her left shoulder,
And oh, but she looks weary,
He's led her up, to the top of the town,
Made her watch, the plundering of Airlie
