In today's very special video, I take delivery of my dream car, an SRT (Dodge) Viper GTS! With the help of friends and family, I wanted to give everyone an in-depth look into what the experience was like!
Earlier this year, as many of you who follow me on social media know, I sold my Dodge Charger RT and Chevrolet Avalanche. I knew, regardless of what I was going to purchase later in the year, that I wanted to step out of the box and buy something that truly fit me and my love for traditional American sports cars. The Viper was it, hands down. After all, with a N/A 8.4L V10 (640 hp/600 lb/ft torque) and a 6-speed manual transmission, you can't get much more old school! After considering all of the new generation domestic muscle/sports cars, I decided I wanted something a bit more raw, less practical and perhaps a little crazy! I've always been the one to buy the practical cars, not anymore I suppose =) Aside from showing you all what it was like to go through this whole process, emotions included, I also wanted to extend sincere gratitude for everyone that has subscribed to this channel over the years. Allowing me to produce my in-depth reviews for a living is truly a blessing. This is just the beginning of all of the incredible cars to be featured on this channel in the long run. Viper – Die Serie
Eine US-Metropole im 21. Jahrhundert. Im Auftrag der Polizei entwickelt Wissenschaftler Julian Wilkes einen High-Tech-Rennwagen der Superlative. Die „Viper“ ist mit modernsten Waffen ausgestattet. Doch kein Fahrer der Polizei genügt den hohen Anforderungen der Superwaffe. Kurzerhand unterzieht die Polizei den Gangster Michael Payton alias Joe Astor (James McCaffrey) einer Gehirnwäsche und bildet ihn an der Viper aus. Als das Projekt eingestellt wird, stiehlt Joe den Wagen und sorgt nun auf eigene Faust für Recht und Ordnung.
Bei Viper handelt es sich um eine US-amerikanische Fernsehserie, in deren Mittelpunkt ein technisch hochentwickeltes Fahrzeug steht, das zur Verbrechensbekämpfung eingesetzt wird. Die Serie ist eine Mischung aus Science Fiction im Fernsehen und Actionfilm.
In den Staffeln eins bis drei wird eine Dodge Viper RT/10 eingesetzt, in der vierten Staffel fahren die Hauptfiguren eine Viper GTS. Die Fahrzeuge verwandeln sich auf Knopfdruck vom gewöhnlichen Serienfahrzeug in einen silberfarbenen, stark gepanzerten und mit vielen Waffen ausgestatteten Wagen, mit dem die Verbrecherjagd unerkannt durchgeführt wird.
Insgesamt existieren vier Staffeln mit 79 Folgen, die im Zeitraum von 1994 bis 1999 in den USA und ab der zweiten Staffel auch in Kanada gedreht wurden.
Staffel 1
Die erste Staffel besteht aus 13 Folgen, darunter auch der zweiteilige Pilotfilm Gehirnwäsche. In ihm wird die Geschichte von Michael Payton aufgezeigt, einem Kriminellen, der für seine ausgezeichneten Fahrkünste berüchtigt ist. Die Polizei wählt ihn als Fahrer für ihre neue Geheimwaffe aus, die Viper. Dabei handelt es sich um ein hochmodernes Fahrzeug zur Verbrechensbekämpfung. Indem man Paytons Gedächtnis löscht, verwandelt man ihn in Joe Astor, der nun auf der Seite der Guten für Recht und Ordnung sorgen sollte.
Als das Geheimprojekt aus politischen Gründen verworfen wird, stiehlt Astor die Viper. Zusammen mit ihrem Erbauer Julian Wilkes und dem Chef des Polizeifuhrparkes Franklin X. Waters versucht er ab da allein, gegen das Verbrechen anzukämpfen.
Staffel 2
Die zweite Staffel umfasst 22 Folgen. Aufgrund seines Erfolges wird das Projekt wieder von der Polizei übernommen. Ein neues Team wird zusammengestellt, lediglich Franklin X. Waters wird als Mechaniker übernommen. Der neue Fahrer wird Thomas Cole, der ebenso wie die Computerexpertin Allie Farrow und „Frankie“ Zutritt zum Complex hat, der neuen Schaltzentrale des Geheimprojektes.
Staffel 3
Ebenfalls aus 22 Folgen besteht die dritte Staffel der Serie. Nun ohne Allie Farrow, dafür mit einem neuen Verbindungsmann zum FBI, Sherman Catlett, stellt sich das Team dem Verbrechen.
In der letzten Folge, Der doppelte Cole (engl. Originaltitel „About Face“), wird die Viper vom Team im Einsatz zerstört.
Staffel 4
Wiederum aus 22 Folgen bestehend stellt die vierte Staffel die letzte dar. In der ersten Episode, Joes Comeback (engl. Originaltitel „The Return“), erlebt der Zuschauer die Rückkehr von Joe Astor, der Thomas Cole als Fahrer ablöst. Ebenfalls abgelöst wird der Wagen - eine kobaltblau-metallic Viper GTS ersetzt die bisher eingesetzte rote Viper RT/10.
Während der gesamten Staffel wird Joe Astor mit seiner Vergangenheit als Michael Payton konfrontiert. Die Staffel endet in der zweiteiligen Folge Wer ist Joe Astor? (engl. Originaltitel „Split Decision“), in der sich Astor zwischen seinen beiden Leben als Krimineller beziehungsweise als Polizist entscheiden muss.
Mit dem neuen Aussehen der Viper erhält sie neben der bekannten technischen Ausstattung (EMP, Haken, Drohne etc.) auch neues Equipment, wie den Hovercraft-Modus, in den sich die Viper bei Bedarf transformieren kann.
Die Farbe der Viper GTS, kobaltblau-metallic war eine Sonderanfertigung für die Serie.

A hungry Kingsnake is on the track of a Viper. The Viper has spotted the Kingsnake and tries to get as far away as possible from the King.
However the Kingsnake is tracking the Viper via the vibrations it is producing whilst moving away. The Viper seems to understand this and decides to freeze in an ettempt to throw the King off it's trail.
However, the Kingsnake soon catches up with the Viper and so the Viper freezes and pretends to play dead and also tries to blend into the desert sand in order to confuse the King. This tactic does actually work and the Kingsnake is confused and moves away. However, this time the Viper makes a mistake and begins to move again and the King picks up on the vibrations immediately and once again is after the Viper.
The King catches up with the Viper again and the Viper freezes again but makes a fatal mistake and tries to bite the Kingsnake. The King then immediately attacks the Viper and wraps its body around it slowly constricting it causing suffocation.
Although the Viper is extremely venomous and bites the Kingsnake, the King is actually immune to it's venom and so it is a no win situation for the Viper. The Kingsnake is a constrictor, and so has no venom.
It takes over an hour for the Viper to eventually die. The King then consumes the Viper whole.

Viperidae
The Viperidae (vipers) are a family of venomous snakes found all over the world, except in Antarctica, Australia, New Zealand, Madagascar, Hawaii, various other isolated islands, and north of the Arctic Circle. All have relatively long, hinged fangs that permit deep penetration and injection of venom. Four subfamilies are currently recognised. They are also known as viperids.
Description
All viperids have a pair of relatively long solenoglyphous (hollow) fangs that are used to inject venom from glands located towards the rear of the upper jaws, just behind the eyes. Each of the two fangs is at the front of the mouth on a short maxillary bone that can rotate back and forth. When not in use, the fangs fold back against the roof of the mouth and are enclosed in a membranous sheath. The left and right fangs can be rotated together or independently. During a strike, the mouth can open nearly 180° and the maxilla rotates forward, erecting the fangs as late as possible so that the fangs do not become damaged, as they are brittle. The jaws close upon impact and the muscular sheaths encapsulating the venom glands contract, injecting the venom as the fangs penetrate the target. This action is very fast; in defensive strikes, it will be more a stab than a bite. Viperids use this mechanism primarily for immobilization and digestion of prey. Secondarily, it is used for self-defence, though in cases with nonprey, such as humans, they may give a dry bite (not inject any venom). A "dry bite" allows the snake to conserve their precious reserve of venom, because once it has been depleted, it takes time to replenish, leaving the snake vulnerable.

Kingsnake
Kingsnakes are colubrid snakes, members of the genus Lampropeltis, which include milk snakes and four other species. Among these, there are approximately 45 recognized subspecies.
Etymology
Lampropeltis means "shiny shield" (from Greek λαμπρος, "shine" + πελτα, "small shield"), a name given to them in reference to their smooth dorsal scales.
Behavior and diet
Kingsnakes use constriction to kill their prey and tend to be opportunistic when it comes to their diet; they will eat other snakes (ophiophagy), including venomous snakes. Kingsnakes will also eat lizards, rodents, birds, and eggs. The common kingsnake is known to be immune to the venom of other snakes and to eat rattlesnakes, but it is not necessarily immune to the venom of snakes from different localities.
The "king" in the name (as with the king cobra) references its eating of other snakes.
Description
The majority of kingsnakes have quite vibrant patterns on their skins. Some species of kingsnake, such as the scarlet kingsnake, Mexican milk snake, and red milk snake, have coloration and patterning that can cause them to be confused with the highly venomous coral snakes.

Viper – Die Serie Eine US-Metropole im 21. Jahrhundert. Im Auftrag der Polizei entwickelt Wissenschaftler Julian Wilkes einen High-Tech-Rennwagen der Superlative. Die „Viper“ ist mit modernsten Waffen ausgestattet. Doch kein Fahrer der Polizei genügt den hohen Anforderungen der Superwaffe. Kurzerhand unterzieht die Polizei den Gangster Michael Payton alias Joe Astor (James McCaffrey) einer Gehirnwäsche und bildet ihn an der Viper aus. Als das Projekt eingestellt wird, stiehlt Joe den Wagen und sorgt nun auf eigene Faust für Recht und Ordnung. Bei Viper handelt es sich um eine US-amerikanische Fernsehserie, in deren Mittelpunkt ein technisch hochentwickeltes Fahrzeug steht, das zur Verbrechensbekämpfung eingesetzt wird. Die Serie ist eine Mischung aus Science Fiction im Fernsehen und Actionfilm. In den Staffeln eins bis drei wird eine Dodge Viper RT/10 eingesetzt, in der vierten Staffel fahren die Hauptfiguren eine Viper GTS. Die Fahrzeuge verwandeln sich auf Knopfdruck vom gewöhnlichen Serienfahrzeug in einen silberfarbenen, stark gepanzerten und mit vielen Waffen ausgestatteten Wagen, mit dem die Verbrecherjagd unerkannt durchgeführt wird. Insgesamt existieren vier Staffeln mit 79 Folgen, die im Zeitraum von 1994 bis 1999 in den USA und ab der zweiten Staffel auch in Kanada gedreht wurden. Staffel 1 Die erste Staffel besteht aus 13 Folgen, darunter auch der zweiteilige Pilotfilm Gehirnwäsche. In ihm wird die Geschichte von Michael Payton aufgezeigt, einem Kriminellen, der für seine ausgezeichneten Fahrkünste berüchtigt ist. Die Polizei wählt ihn als Fahrer für ihre neue Geheimwaffe aus, die Viper. Dabei handelt es sich um ein hochmodernes Fahrzeug zur Verbrechensbekämpfung. Indem man Paytons Gedächtnis löscht, verwandelt man ihn in Joe Astor, der nun auf der Seite der Guten für Recht und Ordnung sorgen sollte. Als das Geheimprojekt aus politischen Gründen verworfen wird, stiehlt Astor die Viper. Zusammen mit ihrem Erbauer Julian Wilkes und dem Chef des Polizeifuhrparkes Franklin X. Waters versucht er ab da allein, gegen das Verbrechen anzukämpfen. Staffel 2 Die zweite Staffel umfasst 22 Folgen. Aufgrund seines Erfolges wird das Projekt wieder von der Polizei übernommen. Ein neues Team wird zusammengestellt, lediglich Franklin X. Waters wird als Mechaniker übernommen. Der neue Fahrer wird Thomas Cole, der ebenso wie die Computerexpertin Allie Farrow und „Frankie“ Zutritt zum Complex hat, der neuen Schaltzentrale des Geheimprojektes. Staffel 3 Ebenfalls aus 22 Folgen besteht die dritte Staffel der Serie. Nun ohne Allie Farrow, dafür mit einem neuen Verbindungsmann zum FBI, Sherman Catlett, stellt sich das Team dem Verbrechen. In der letzten Folge, Der doppelte Cole (engl. Originaltitel „About Face“), wird die Viper vom Team im Einsatz zerstört. Staffel 4 Wiederum aus 22 Folgen bestehend stellt die vierte Staffel die letzte dar. In der ersten Episode, Joes Comeback (engl. Originaltitel „The Return“), erlebt der Zuschauer die Rückkehr von Joe Astor, der Thomas Cole als Fahrer ablöst. Ebenfalls abgelöst wird der Wagen - eine kobaltblau-metallic Viper GTS ersetzt die bisher eingesetzte rote Viper RT/10. Während der gesamten Staffel wird Joe Astor mit seiner Vergangenheit als Michael Payton konfrontiert. Die Staffel endet in der zweiteiligen Folge Wer ist Joe Astor? (engl. Originaltitel „Split Decision“), in der sich Astor zwischen seinen beiden Leben als Krimineller beziehungsweise als Polizist entscheiden muss. Mit dem neuen Aussehen der Viper erhält sie neben der bekannten technischen Ausstattung (EMP, Haken, Drohne etc.) auch neues Equipment, wie den Hovercraft-Modus, in den sich die Viper bei Bedarf transformieren kann. Die Farbe der Viper GTS, kobaltblau-metallic war eine Sonderanfertigung für die Serie. A hungry Kingsnake is on the track of a Viper. The Viper has spotted the Kingsnake and tries to get as far away as possible from the King. However the Kingsnake is tracking the Viper via the vibrations it is producing whilst moving away. The Viper seems to understand this and decides to freeze in an ettempt to throw the King off it's trail. However, the Kingsnake soon catches up with the Viper and so the Viper freezes and pretends to play dead and also tries to blend into the desert sand in order to confuse the King. This tactic does actually work and the Kingsnake is confused and moves away. However, this time the Viper makes a mistake and begins to move again and the King picks up on the vibrations immediately and once again is after the Viper. The King catches up with the Viper again and the Viper freezes again but makes a fatal mistake and tries to bite the Kingsnake. The King then immediately attacks the Viper and wraps its body around it slowly constricting it causing suffocation. Although the Viper is extremely venomous and bites the Kingsnake, the King is actually immune to it's venom and so it is a no win situation for the Viper. The Kingsnake is a constrictor, and so has no venom. It takes over an hour for the Viper to eventually die. The King then consumes the Viper whole.

Viper
In the near future, an organized crime group known as the "Outfit" has become a major force in America. Engineer Julian Wilkes develops a high-tech crime-fighting vehicle called the Viper, which is intended to be a "flagship" in a new crackdown on crime. The Viper needs a driver, so when Outfit driver Michael Payton is injured and captured, his memory is erased, and he is given a new identity as Joe Astor, MetroPol employee. The Outfit discredits the Viper project, but when it is canceled, Joe and Julian steal the Viper and strike out on their own private war against crime.

In today's very special video, I take delivery of my dream car, an SRT (Dodge) Viper GTS! With the help of friends and family, I wanted to give everyone an in-depth look into what the experience was like! Earlier this year, as many of you who follow me on social media know, I sold my Dodge Charger RT and Chevrolet Avalanche. King Snake Vs Viper
A hungry Kingsnake is on the track of a Viper. The Viper has spotted the Kingsnake and tries to get as far away as possible from the King. However the Kingsnake is tracking the Viper via the vibrations it is producing whilst moving away. The Viper seems to understand this and decides to freeze in an ettempt to throw the King off it's trail. However, the Kingsnake soon catches up with the Viper and so the Viper freezes and pretends to play dead and also tries to blend into the desert sand in order to confuse the King. A hungry Kingsnake is on the track of a Viper. The Viper has spotted the Kingsnake and tries to get as far away as possible from the King. However the Kingsna...A hungry Kingsnake is on the track of a Viper. The Viper has spotted the Kingsnake and tries to get as far away as possible from the King. However the Kingsnake is tracking the Viper via the vibrations it is producing whilst moving away. The Viper seems to understand this and decides to freeze in an ettempt to throw the King off it's trail. However, the Kingsnake soon catches up with the Viper and so the Viper freezes and pretends to play dead and also tries to blend into the desert sand in order to confuse the King. This tactic does actually work and the Kingsnake is confused and moves away. However, this time the Viper makes a mistake and begins to move again and the King picks up on the vibrations immediately and once again is after the Viper. The King catches up with the Viper again and the Viper freezes again but makes a fatal mistake and tries to bite the Kingsnake. The King then immediately attacks the Viper and wraps its body around it slowly constricting it causing suffocation. Although the Viper is extremely venomous and bites the Kingsnake, the King is actually immune to it's venom and so it is a no win situation for the Viper. The Kingsnake is a constrictor, and so has no venom. It takes over an hour for the Viper to eventually die. The King then consumes the Viper whole.wn.com/King Snake Vs Viper
