A Steven Dank lookalike was mistakenly served with court papers on Monday.
However, not only was the man not Mr Dank, he was actually a police officer attending an unrelated media event nearby.
3AW Breakfast's Rumour File heard that the man looked so much like Mr Dank he had to flash his police badge to prove it wasn't him.
Mr Dank was expected at a hearing at the Docklands on Monday, but didn't show due to a family emergency.
Expecting Dank, officials and media pounced on a man who looked a lot like him when he arrived on the scene.
