Slum

A slum is a heavily populated urban informal settlement characterized by substandard housing and squalor. While slums differ in size and other characteristics from country to country, most lack reliable sanitation services, supply of clean water, reliable electricity, timely law enforcement and other basic services. Slum residences vary from shanty houses to professionally built dwellings that because of poor-quality design or construction have deteriorated into slums.

Slums were common in the 19th and early 20th centuries in the United States and Europe. More recently slums have been predominantly found in urban regions of developing and undeveloped parts of the world, but are also found in developed economies.

According to UN-Habitat, around 33% of the urban population in the developing world in 2012, or about 863 million people, lived in slums. The proportion of urban population living in slums was highest in Sub-Saharan Africa (61.7%), followed by South Asia (35%), Southeast Asia (31%), East Asia (28.2%), West Asia (24.6%), Oceania (24.1%), Latin America and the Caribbean (23.5%), and North Africa (13.3%). Among individual countries, the proportion of urban residents living in slum areas in 2009 was highest in the Central African Republic (95.9%). Between 1990 and 2010 the percentage of people living in slums dropped, even as the total urban population increased. The world's largest slum city is in Mexico City.

K Camp

Kristopher Campbell (born April 27, 1990), better known by his stage name K Camp (stylized as K CAMP), is an American rapper and vocalist from Atlanta, Georgia. He is signed with Interscope Records and released his debut EP In Due Time on April 22, 2014. He is best known for "Cut Her Off," the debut single from his EP which peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart and received two nominations at the 2014 BET Hip Hop Awards. His debut album "Only Way Is Up" was released in 2015 and peaked at No. 4 on Billboard's Rap Albums chart.

K Camp was chosen as part of the XXL Magazine 2015 Freshman Class and named by Rolling Stone as a "New Artist You Need To Know." He has collaborated with artists that have included 2 Chainz, Snoop Dogg, T.I., and Jeremih.

Career

K Camp was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin but grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. His family introduced him to music at an early age and he has attributed some of his biggest influences as Andre 3000, Tupac Shakur, and The Notorious B.I.G..

Google Play

Google Play or Google Play Store, and originally the Android Market, is a digital distribution platform operated by Google. It serves as the official app store for the Android operating system, allowing users to browse and download applications developed with the Android SDK and published through Google. Google Play also serves as a digital media store, offering music, magazines, books, movies, and television programs. It previously offered Google hardware devices for purchase until the introduction of a separate online hardware retailer, Google Store, on March 11, 2015.

Applications are available through Google Play either free of charge or at a cost. They can be downloaded directly to an Android or Google TV device through the Play Store mobile app, or by deploying the application to a device from the Google Play website. Many applications can be targeted to specific users based on a particular hardware attribute of their device, such as a motion sensor (for motion-dependent games) or a front-facing camera (for online video calling).
