The programme was conceived in the mid-2000s and promoted by British paramedic Bob Brotchie in May 2005. It encourages people to enter emergency contacts in their mobile phone address book under the name "ICE". Alternately, a person can list multiple emergency contacts as "ICE1", "ICE2", etc. The popularity of the program has spread across Europe and Australia, and has started to grow into North America.

A human being is the casualty of a train accident - his body has been chopped in half by a running train. The number of injured was 2,062 on the Central Railway and 1,237 on the Western Railway, the total of which comes to 3,299 in 2014.
An average of nine persons lost their lives daily due to accidents, suicides or natural deaths while on the move in suburban Mumbai Railway, the lifeline of the country's financial capital in 2015.
The data of 'Accidental Deaths - Year 2014' available with the Government Railway Police (GRP) states 2,221 deaths occurred on Central Railway (CR) network and 1,202 fatalities on the Western Railway (WR). The number of injured was 2,062 on the CR and 1,237 on the WR, the total of which comes to 3,299 last year. This means on an average eight passengers suffered injuries daily.
In 2013, a total 83 more accidental deaths were reported along the 474.66 km long railway route in comparison with the year 2014. The number of injured was 2062 on the CR and 1256 on the WR.
Rail activists have dubbed the suburban railway network as a 'silent killer' due to the alarming number of deaths and injuries on tracks, saying the lifeline is proving to be a "virtual death trap". GRP Commissioner Ravindra Singhal admits there is a need for introspection by the railway authorities and police.
"I do agree that the figure is worrying. There is a need to improve infrastructure by constructing more Foot Over Bridges (FOB), manning railway cross gates, building more safety walls. Besides, the most important thing is sensitising the passengers that how seriously change their lives if they do not follow safety norms."
Central Railway spokesperson A K Singh laid emphasis on creating awareness among the commuters. "Commuters do not use available FOBs risking their lives. We have constructed boundary walls at major junctions. We are doing everything best we could do to better our service," Singh claimed.
Kalyan railway police station jurisdiction, with 849 fatalities, topped the accidental death chart followed by Kurla Railway Police which recorded 681 deaths in 2014.
In 2013 too, Kalyan railway police jurisdiction witnessed 815 deaths while Kurla saw 747 fatalities.
The causes of the deaths are many. Maximum number of commuters lost their lives while crossing railway tracks with the figure being 1,912 followed by passengers falling from moving trains with 797 such cases reported. As many as 34 passengers died due to fall in the gap between platform and trains while 11 died after being hit by a pole while the train was on the move. Scores died due to illness while travelling in trains.
'Natural death due to illness' accounts for 468 cases. As many as 33 people have committed suicide. If a passenger dies on a train while travelling, an 'Accidental Death Case' is usually registered by the railway police stations, even if it later turns out that the person died of ill health. Rajiv Singhal, a rail activist, blames administrative lapses for the passenger deaths.
"These incidents should be seen more seriously than terrorism. Suburban rail network has been neglected since long. It needs urgent attention," said Rajiv, who is also a member of Divisional Railway Users Consultative Committee (DRUCC), which works for welfare of passengers. Another rail activist Shailesh Goyal said passengers have exceeded the railway capacity and the network was not in a position to accommodate any more commuters.
"Its capacity needs to be strengthened, besides creating awareness among the commuters. Need to build infrastructure so that passengers do not cross the tracks. Otherwise the Railway will continue to lay its death traps," he said. He suggested that there should be emergency medical centres at main railway junctions such as Dadar, Virar, Mumbai central, Kurla and Kalyan among others so that the injured can be treated at the earliest after an accident.

Choking is a life threatening situation and happens when the casualty's airway suddenly gets blocked so they cannot breathe normally. Their airway can be partly or fully blocked. Usually, choking in small children is caused by a small foreign object whereas in adults it is most commonly food. If the blockage of the airway is mild, the casualty should be able to clear it by coughing. Any blockage of the airway should be taken very seriously as within a short time of the brain being starved of Oxygen, brain damage can occur.

Casualty (person)
A casualty in military usage is a person in military service, combatant or non-combatant, who becomes unavailable for duty due to several circumstances, including death, injury, illness, capture and desertion.
In civilian usage, a casualty is a person who is killed, wounded or injured by some event, and is usually used to describe multiple deaths and injuries due to violent incidents or disasters. Casualties is sometimes misunderstood to mean fatalities, but non-fatal injuries are also casualties.
Military usage
In military usage, a casualty is a person in service killed in action, killed by disease, disabled by injuries, disabled by psychological trauma, captured, deserted, or missing, but not someone who sustains injuries which do not prevent them from fighting. Any casualty is no longer available for the immediate battle or campaign, the major consideration in combat, and the reason for lumping together all these different cases. The word has been used in a military context since at least 1513.

A person is a being, such as a human, that has certain capacities or attributes constituting personhood, which in turn is defined differently by different authors in different disciplines, and by different cultures in different times and places. In ancient Rome, the word persona (Latin) or prosopon (πρόσωπον; Greek) originally referred to the masks worn by actors on stage. The various masks represented the various "personae" in the stage play.
The concept of person was developed during the Trinitarian and Christological debates of the 4th and 5th centuries in contrast to the word nature. During the theological debates, some philosophical tools (concepts) were needed so that the debates could be held on common basis to all theological schools. The purpose of the debate was to establish the relation, similarities and differences between the Λóγος/Verbum and God. The philosophical concept of person arose, taking the word "prosopon" (πρόσωπον) from the Greek theatre. Therefore, Christus (the Λóγος/Verbum) and God were defined as different "persons". This concept was applied later to the Holy Ghost, the angels and to all human beings.

In 2013, a total 83 more accidental deaths were reported along the 474.66 km long railway route in comparison with the year 2014. The number of injured was 2062 on the CR and 1256 on the WR.
Rail activists have dubbed the suburban railway network as a 'silent killer' due to the alarming number of deaths and injuries on tracks, saying the lifeline is proving to be a "virtual death trap". GRP Commissioner Ravindra Singhal admits there is a need for introspection by the railway authorities and police.
"I do agree that the figure is worrying. There is a need to improve infrastructure by constructing more Foot Over Bridges (FOB), manning railway cross gates, building more safety walls. Besides, the most important thing is sensitising the passengers that how seriously change their lives if they do not follow safety norms."
Central Railway spokesperson A K Singh laid emphasis on creating awareness among the commuters. "Commuters do not use available FOBs risking their lives. We have constructed boundary walls at major junctions. We are doing everything best we could do to better our service," Singh claimed.
Kalyan railway police station jurisdiction, with 849 fatalities, topped the accidental death chart followed by Kurla Railway Police which recorded 681 deaths in 2014.
In 2013 too, Kalyan railway police jurisdiction witnessed 815 deaths while Kurla saw 747 fatalities.
The causes of the deaths are many. Maximum number of commuters lost their lives while crossing railway tracks with the figure being 1,912 followed by passengers falling from moving trains with 797 such cases reported. As many as 34 passengers died due to fall in the gap between platform and trains while 11 died after being hit by a pole while the train was on the move. Scores died due to illness while travelling in trains.
'Natural death due to illness' accounts for 468 cases. As many as 33 people have committed suicide. If a passenger dies on a train while travelling, an 'Accidental Death Case' is usually registered by the railway police stations, even if it later turns out that the person died of ill health. Rajiv Singhal, a rail activist, blames administrative lapses for the passenger deaths.
"These incidents should be seen more seriously than terrorism. Suburban rail network has been neglected since long. It needs urgent attention," said Rajiv, who is also a member of Divisional Railway Users Consultative Committee (DRUCC), which works for welfare of passengers. Another rail activist Shailesh Goyal said passengers have exceeded the railway capacity and the network was not in a position to accommodate any more commuters.
"Its capacity needs to be strengthened, besides creating awareness among the commuters. Need to build infrastructure so that passengers do not cross the tracks. Otherwise the Railway will continue to lay its death traps," he said. He suggested that there should be emergency medical centres at main railway junctions such as Dadar, Virar, Mumbai central, Kurla and Kalyan among others so that the injured can be treated at the earliest after an accident.

Choking is a life threatening situation and happens when the casualty's airway suddenly gets blocked so they cannot breathe normally. Their airway can be partly or fully blocked. Usually, choking in small children is caused by a small foreign object whereas in adults it is most commonly food. If the blockage of the airway is mild, the casualty should be able to clear it by coughing. Any blockage of the airway should be taken very seriously as within a short time of the brain being starved of Oxygen, brain damage can occur.

A formal declaration of an MCI is usually made by an officer or chief of the agency in charge. Initially, the senior paramedic at the scene will be in charge of the incident, but as additional resources arrive, a senior officer or chief will take command, usually using an incident command system structure to form a unified command to run all aspects of the incident. In the United States, the Incident Command System is known as the National Incident Management System (NIMS), and according to the Federal Emergency Management Agency, "NIMS provides the template for the management of incidents..."

Once an MCI has been declared, a definite and well co-ordinated flow of events will occur, using three separate phases: triage, treatment, and transportation.
As soon as additional crews are en route to the emergency, the first-arriving crew will conduct triage. Pre-hospital emergency triage generally consists of a check for immediate life-threatening concerns, usually lasting no more than one minute per patient. In North America, the START system (Simple Triage and Rapid Treatment) is the most common and considered the easiest to use. This system checks three things: breathing, circulation, and consciousness and, based upon the medical responder's findings, assigns each casualty to one of four colour-coded triage levels. "Walking Wounded" or "Green Tagged" is the second-lowest level of triage, and is assigned to those with minor injuries who can get out of the incident area and to a treatment area under their own power. "Delayed Treatment" or "Yellow Tagged" is the next highest level of triage, and is assigned to those who have non-life-threatening injuries, but cannot get to a treatment area under their own power. "Immediate Treatment" or "Red Tagged" is the highest level of triage, and is assigned to those with major life-threatening injuries who are salvageable. That is to say people who need immediate advanced care, but can wait until additional crews arrive. What a testiment to the training, equipment and especially the soldeirs themselves who care for this injured soldier. They are a credit to their units and to the US Army and military as a whole. SFC Metz was knocked down and dazed by the explosion, but gets right back up and renders the aid needed to keep this soldier alive! Great job to all involved.

In Israel, military service is compulsory for both men and women. That means every family with children faces the terrifying possibility that a loved one may be killed in action. Informing a soldier’s relatives that he or she has died is clearly important and so the Israeli Defence Forces set up a special messenger unit. In the all too frequent event of a soldier being killed, its sole task is to find his or her family as quickly as possible, to ensure they are told of the tragedy officially and in person rather than hearing it on the grapevine.
Messenger service officers wear a distinctive uniform, when it’s seen on the street near any home; every Israeli knows why they are knocking on a particular door, and that fateful knock is dreaded throughout the country. After breaking the devastating news, the messengers help organise funerals and ensure that the bereaved receive any emotional support they may need. For the messengers themselves it is more than just a job, they know better than most that no one is immune and frequently go far beyond the call of duty to help. Sometimes, life-long friendships between messengers and relatives are forged by the shared traumatic experience.

What is Battle Brothers?
Battle Brothers is turn-based tactical strategy RPG. You lead a band of mercenaries from humble beginnings as poor farmers, millers, grave robbers and deserters to an unstoppable killing force that shall slay all in their way. Battle Brothers has both a Strategic World Map and a Tactical Battle Map. Much of the game is randomly generated and no two runs will be the same. Balance getting more, better, stronger troops within your economics means. If you can't feed or pay the troops they will leave. Loot, buy, sell and use gear for each of your Battle Brothers and don't forget to level them up. Think Mount & Blade as a tactical turn based strategy game! :)

Horse are large, powerful animals with a strong fear response, this usually makes them the most dangerous aspect of a rescue scenario.
They are also often described as being unpredictable although with training people can be trained to predict equine behaviour much more accurately and so predict when the horse is liable to react aversely.
Like other mammals horses learn through classical and operant conditioning. By understanding these processes they can be applied within a rescue scenario to reduce the likelihood of aversive reactions from the horse. The result is a safer and less stressful rescue for all the stakeholders involved.
Example
Negative reinforcement describes the process of learning when behaviour is rewarded by the removal of something mildly aversive, hence it is often called removal reinforcement. Consider a horse loose on a motorway each time a person approaches to catch the horse it flees thus removing the perceived pressure of the person. However if the person stops on the edge of the flight zone and steps back before the horse moves the behaviour being rewarded is standing still. Usually within a few moments the person can approach close enough to catch the horse without it fleeing.
