Watch Savera 1958 Hindi Movie Online starring Bipin Gupta, Leela Mishra and Kammo
The large household at the centre of the plot is run by a tyrannical old mother Shanta (Lalita Pawar). Her husband Ramdas (Bipin Gupta) is a very religious, meek man who lets her boss everyone around in the home. The home includes their eldest daughter-in-law Gauri, a widow, raising two little boys. Their middle son is Kailash (Raaj Kumar), married to a very devoted, loving woman named Sita (Devika). Their youngest son is Kamal (Rajendra Kumar), a college student, who falls in love with another student Usha (Asha Parekh). The young married daughter Bhairavi (Shubha Khote), who was living with her husband and father-in-law, has now moved back home using a trivial reason, such as how she doesn't like her father-in-law's singing. Her husband Sarang (Agha) has followed her and is staying in the household, trying his best to get his wife to come back to his home. Shanta has completely spoiled her daughter. One day, Bhairavi plants a suspicion in Kailash's head that Sita is having an affair with Kamal. Even after Kamal's marriage to Usha, Kailash's suspicions grow to the point where he leaves his wife and attempts suicide. His friend, a respectable dancer named Ragini (Meenu Mumtaz), stops him. He accepts her help and later pursues her romantically, but she sees him only as a friend, as he is a married man.
One day, Kamal sees his mother about to hit Usha and stops her. He also convinces his father Ramdas to tame his mother and take control of the household. Ramdas finally does that. He forces Bhairavi to return with Sarang to her in-laws. Meanwhile, when Sita tells Kailash that she is pregnant, he rejects the notion that he is the father, claiming that Kamal fathered the child. Sita vehemently denies these allegations. Heartbroken, she attempts suicide but is stopped by other members of the family. Bhairavi is forced to tell the truth about how she fabricated the story of Kamal having an affair with Sita. Kailash now believes in Sita's fidelity and devotion and begs for her forgiveness. She forgives him, and the entire family is now reunited and happy.

The picture deals with a young man who has lost his memory and who thinks that he had murdered his brother. The mentally-ill man goes to see one Dr. Kailash but Dr. Kailash is killed by his rival Dr. Shukla who manages to inveigle the amnesic man into beliveing that he was murderer of Dr. Kailash also. The amnesic man meeta a buxom girl called Mala who being a medical student decides to help the young afficted man after falling love with him. Dr. Shukla soon makes thing dangerous for the amnesic who is required by the police. Mala runs away with her lover to Dr. Jeevan, a psychiartist who helps the amnesic man to remember his past. At las the amnesic man realizes that he had lost his memory after his brothers accidental death and that all his guilt complexes were only mental aberations. His crime having been discovered Dr. Shukla commits suicide while the buxom girl and her lover happily united.

Like a truant comet fleeing from its moorings, the train flashed through the covering darkness of the forest range. . In the dim corridor, a girl screams, her voice tremulous with tremulous with tension and terror. Someone flings open a door, revealing a dead body in a pool of blood! Whistles, cries and shouts fill the air; men are seen flitting about in frantic urgency. The train pulls to jerky screeching halt. . Shreenath, a handsome smiling youth is apprehended and faces a summary investigation in the station masters crowded room. He protests angrily, but in vain. The appearances are against him. At teh nick of the moment, however, the Anglo-Indian driver of the train enters and testifies to the innocence of the suspect. Shreenath is allowed to go. . But he has no place to go to. His father whom he came to meet, is missing for years, the police constable inform him, and is believed to be absconding from a charge of murdering the wife of Raiji, a local Hitler with a ready gun. Keen to know more about his father, Shreenath wanders into the multi-room house of Raiji. Little did he know he had walked into a veritable death trap. Strange things happen to him here-sinister doors open and close around him, a mysterious hand leads him out of a tight corner, he is attacked by a fearsome monster of a man. . He meets a lovely charmer in Raijis daughter, Mukta. The pleasant encounter is, however, cut short by the irate master of the house and he is told to clear out of the premises. But when he is about to leave he hears a plaintive voice, begging for help. Who was it? Something in the voice grips him and lures him back to the ghostly house. Now this entrancing girl guides him to an under ground vault where he meets a broken, manacled prisoner- his long lost father. A precious diamond ring which Raiji wanted for himself comes into the fearful dream and unleashes a landslide of startling incidents. Raiji and his thugs go for Shreenath. Mukta finds her love and loyalty divided between the attractive stranger and her own father. Desperately Raiji puts to flames his own spacious house. In one room lies Shreenath, trapped and chained. Outside the room stands Raiji, firing at everyone who comes within his sight and range. . The climax to this exciting parade of events is as horrifying as it is full of fascinating drama.

Synopsis:One of the big hits of the year from Bombay Talkies produced by Ashok Kumar and Sarak Vacha, "Tamasha" had a narrative far ahead of its times, the action spread over 16 eventful days. On the surface, a young heir-apparent, Dilip (Dev Anand) is hopelessly in love with an aspiring film actor,
- Nayantara (Kaushalya) who together with her scheming mother(Sunalini Devi), a struggling director (Randhir) and assistant actually wants him to finance her launching pad.
- The stumbling block is Dilip's ailing grandfather, Rai Saheb (Bipin Gupta) who is dead against the alliance and constantly warning him to break away from the actress that will otherwise only bring shame to the family.
- Although Dilip keeps assuring him that he has severed all ties, and is, in fact, dating a homely girl from a middle class family, he is actually besotted with the actress who is simultaneously in an unholy alliance with big star Ashok Kumar . Persuaded by Rai Sahib, Dilip hires the services of Kiran (Meena Kumari) as his new love interest. As Kiran gets more and more comfortable as the housekeeper, Dilip gets caught in the whirlpool of his own creation, drowned in his infatuation with Nayantara and admiration for Kiran.
- Mummy, the director and Nayantara conspire and photograph Dilip in intimate moments with the latter, start blackmailing and threaten to take them to court.
- After some melodramatic scenes, actor Ashok Kumar brings in a dramatic end to the drama, teasingly telling the director and the heroine, " Kaise raha yeh twist climax mein ? (How was this twist in the climax)," a dialogue the actor repeatedly deploys in the film.
- It was unusual, and first in many ways: this is the only film in which Anand and Kishore Kumar acted together; this was both Ashok Kumar and Meena Kumari's outing with Dev; the only one in the evergreen hero's long and distinguished career where he is not seen singing a solo or a duet. Also the dialogue by famous Urdu writer, Krishan Chandar: " Samajhdar log dil se nahin dimag se mohabbat karte hai (The wise use their head not heart to be in love)," actor Ashok Kumar tells a besotted Dilip; " Mohabbat usi ka naam hai jo qurbaniyan na de (Love is that which does not give sacrifices)".

A joint family consisting of four brothers their wives and children lived under one roof. Some of the brothers are professionals, one a lawyer, a doctor, and others were businessmen. They are a happy family, living and sharing each others joys and sorrows. Then one day, an argument breaks out over a glass of milk, and the entire family is thrown into chaos, and the only resolution seems to be nothing but dividing the entire property amongst the brothers and their respective families.

The film is about a spoiled rich kid, Ajay (Rajkumar Gupta), who is a problem child and is sent away to a boarding school by his grandfather. The board school is run by Shekhar (Abhi Bhattacharya). Shekhar tries to instill good values in the students using unorthodox teaching methods. He gains the students' trust and educates them about the heritage of their country and encourages them to become model citizens.
At the boarding school, Ajay continues his ways and gets into trouble all the time, including with Shekhar. Meanwhile, Ajay meets and befriends a crippled boy named Shakti (Rattan Kumar) whose character is the opposite of Ajay. Shakti tries very hard to help Ajay change his ways, but Ajay's stubborn nature gets in the way.
Finally one day, Ajay attempts to leave the hostel and Shakti finds out. Shakti tries to go after him and stop him but his handicap slows him down and his earnestness to get Ajay back causes him to lose track of the heavy traffic on the road. That is when Shakti is run over in a horrific accident. This was the triggering moment in Ajay, realizing that it was because of his stubbornness, Shakti died. This moves him to change and become a better person. He goes on to excel in academics and sports.
Meanwhile, Shekhar's method of teaching wins approval by the education board in the end. He decides to leave the boarding school to spread his message elsewhere through his unorthodox but successful ways.

Bipin Gupta
Bipin Gupta (August 21, 1905 – September 9, 1981) was an Indian actor and artist during the 1930s and 1960s. He acted in Bengali cinema and Hindi cinema, in notable films like Baiju Bawra (1952), Jagriti (1954), some Gemini and Vasu Menon Films like Gharana, Grahasti, Hamrahi, Sasural and other films like Mamta (1966), Amrapali (1966), jeevan Mrityu and Khilona (1970). He also played negative role in Baat Ek Raat Ki.
Early life
He was born in a Bengali family, on 21 August 1905 in Meerut the 5th child of his parents, Trailokya Nath Gupta and Khemankari Devi. Later they shifted to Barrackpore. He did his schooling from Chinsura Training School and Barrackpore Govt. High School. Before completing formal education he left his home with only four hundred rupees to try his luck. He was married to Annapurna Devi.
Career
He used to work as a cloth supplier in a company. In the Hindi film Noori, he was doing the role of a cloth supplier and went to Agra for shooting. As the lead actor of the film didn’t turn up, the producer of the movie literally forced Bipin to do the film impressed by his looks and voice quality. His first Bengali film was Chokher Bali directed by Sotu Sen in 1938. Although he had worked in almost 300 films, but he had never acted as a hero in any other films other than Noori. Gora (1938), Sandhi (1944), Lukochuri (1958), Mother (1979) are some of his films. In 1964, he has produced and directed one Hindi movie which never got released. He started working in Radio in 1934 and in 1936, he became a professional stage artist. He stayed for long 30 years in Bombay to establish himself in Bollywood.

Ashok Kumar
Ashok Kumar (13 October 1911 – 10 December 2001), born Kumudlal Ganguly and also fondly called Dadamoni, was an Indian film actor who attained iconic status in Indian cinema. He was honoured in 1988 with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, the highest national award for cinema artists, by the Government of India and also received the Padma Bhushan in 1999 for his contributions to Indian cinema. He is considered to be one of India's finest ever actors, playing leading, negative and character roles with equal panache.
Family
Ashok Kumar was born Kumudlal Ganguly in Bhagalpur, then in the Bengal Presidency and now lying in Bihar. His father, Kunjlal Ganguly, was a lawyer while his mother, Gouri Devi, was a home-maker. Kumudlal (as he was then known) was the eldest of four children. A couple of years younger to him was his only sister, Sati Devi, who was married at a very young age to Sashadhar Mukherjee and became the matriarch of a large "film family". More than fourteen years younger than Kumudlal was his next brother, Kalyan (b.1926), who later took the screen name Anoop Kumar, and youngest of all was Abhas (b.1929), whose screen name was Kishore Kumar and who became a phenomenally successful playback singer of Hindi films. Although the eldest of the three brothers by several years, Ashok Kumar outlived his siblings. In fact, he stopped celebrating his birthday after his youngest brother, Kishore, died on that very day (Ashok's birthday) in 1987.

Kishore Kumar
Kishore Kumar (4 August 1929 – 13 October 1987) was an Indian film playback singer, actor, lyricist, composer, producer, director, and screenwriter. He is considered one of the most successful playback singers of the Hindi film industry. Apart from Hindi, he sang in many Indian languages including Bengali, Marathi, Assamese, Gujarati, Kannada, Bhojpuri, Malayalam, Odia, and Urdu. He has also sung in private albums in several languages especially in Bengali which are noted as all time classics. He won 8 Filmfare Awards for Best Male Playback Singer and holds the record for winning the most Filmfare Awards in that category. He was awarded the "Lata Mangeshkar Award" by the Madhya Pradesh government and from that year onwards, the Madhya Pradesh Government initiated a new award called the "Kishore Kumar Award" for contributions to Hindi cinema
Early life
Kishore Kumar was born in a Bengali Ganguly family in Khandwa, Central Provinces (now in Madhya Pradesh) as Abhas Kumar Ganguly. His father Kunjalal Ganguly (Gangopadhyay) was a lawyer and his mother Gouri Devi came from a wealthy Bengali family. Kunjalal Gangopadhyaya was invited by the Kamavisadar Gokhale family of Khandwa to be their personal lawyer. Kishore was the youngest of four siblings, the other three were Ashok (the eldest), Sati Devi, and Anoop. While Kishore was still a child, his brother Ashok became a Bollywood actor. Later, Anoop also ventured into cinema with Ashok's help. Spending time with his brothers, Kishore became interested in films and music. He became a fan of singer-actor K. L. Saigal—whom he considered his guru, and tried to emulate his singing style. He graduated from Christian College, Indore.

Bi-pin connector
A bipin or bi-pin, (sometimes referred to as two-pin, bipin cap or bipin socket), is a standard from the IEC for lamp fittings. These are used on many small incandescent light bulbs (especially halogen lamps), and for starters on some types of fluorescent lights as well.
Some lamps have pins placed closer together, preventing them from being interchanged with bulbs that are too high power, which may cause excessive heat and possibly fire. These are sometimes called "mini-bipin". Some of these, particularly in automotive lighting, have the pins bent back onto the sides of the base of the bulb, this is instead called a wedge base or socket.
The bi-pin base was invented by Reginald Fessenden for the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago. After Westinghouse won the contract to wire and illuminate the first electrified fair with AC instead of archrival Thomas Edison's DC, Edison and his General Electric company refused to allow his patented Edison screw-base bulbs to be used. Westinghouse overcame this by inventing the bi-pin base for use at the fair.

Meena Kumari
Meena Kumari (1 August 1932 – 31 March 1972), born Mahjabeen Bano, was an Indian film actress and poet. She is regarded as one of the most prominent actresses to have appeared on the screens of Hindi Cinema. During a career spanning 30 years from her childhood to her death, she starred in more than ninety films, many of which have achieved classic and cult status today. She is regarded as one of the geatest Hindi movie actresses of all time.
Kumari gained a reputation for playing grief-stricken and tragic roles, and her performances have been praised and reminisced throughout the years. Like one of her best-known roles, Chhoti Bahu, in Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam (1962), Kumari became addicted to alcohol. Her life and prosperous career were marred by heavy drinking, troubled relationships, an ensuing deteriorating health, and her death from liver cirrhosis in 1972. Kumari is often cited by media and literary sources as "The Tragedy Queen", both for her frequent portrayal of sorrowful and dramatic roles in her films and her real-life story.

The picture deals with a young man who has lost his memory and who thinks that he had murdered his brother. The mentally-ill man goes to see one Dr. Kailash but Dr. Kailash is killed by his rival Dr. Shukla who manages to inveigle the amnesic man into beliveing that he was murderer of Dr. Kailash also. The amnesic man meeta a buxom girl called Mala who being a medical student decides to help the young afficted man after falling love with him. Dr. Shukla soon makes thing dangerous for the amnesic who is required by the police. Mala runs away with her lover to Dr. Jeevan, a psychiartist who helps the amnesic man to remember his past. At las the amnesic man realizes that he had lost his memory after his brothers accidental death and that all his guilt complexes were only mental aberations. His crime having been discovered Dr. Shukla commits suicide while the buxom girl and her lover happily united. Like a truant comet fleeing from its moorings, the train flashed through the covering darkness of the forest range. . In the dim corridor, a girl screams, her voice tremulous with tremulous with tension and terror. Someone flings open a door, revealing a dead body in a pool of blood! Whistles, cries and shouts fill the air; men are seen flitting about in frantic urgency. The train pulls to jerky screeching halt. . Shreenath, a handsome smiling youth is apprehended and faces a summary investigation in the station masters crowded room. He protests angrily, but in vain. The appearances are against him. At teh nick of the moment, however, the Anglo-Indian driver of the train enters and testifies to the innocence of the suspect. Shreenath is allowed to go. . But he has no place to go to. His father whom he came to meet, is missing for years, the police constable inform him, and is believed to be absconding from a charge of murdering the wife of Raiji, a local Hitler with a ready gun. Keen to know more about his father, Shreenath wanders into the multi-room house of Raiji. Little did he know he had walked into a veritable death trap. Strange things happen to him here-sinister doors open and close around him, a mysterious hand leads him out of a tight corner, he is attacked by a fearsome monster of a man. . He meets a lovely charmer in Raijis daughter, Mukta. The pleasant encounter is, however, cut short by the irate master of the house and he is told to clear out of the premises. But when he is about to leave he hears a plaintive voice, begging for help. Who was it? Something in the voice grips him and lures him back to the ghostly house. Now this entrancing girl guides him to an under ground vault where he meets a broken, manacled prisoner- his long lost father. A precious diamond ring which Raiji wanted for himself comes into the fearful dream and unleashes a landslide of startling incidents. Raiji and his thugs go for Shreenath. Mukta finds her love and loyalty divided between the attractive stranger and her own father. Desperately Raiji puts to flames his own spacious house. In one room lies Shreenath, trapped and chained. Outside the room stands Raiji, firing at everyone who comes within his sight and range. . The climax to this exciting parade of events is as horrifying as it is full of fascinating drama. As Kiran gets more and more comfortable as the housekeeper, Dilip gets caught in the whirlpool of his own creation, drowned in his infatuation with Nayantara and admiration for Kiran. - Mummy, the director and Nayantara conspire and photograph Dilip in intimate moments with the latter, start blackmailing and threaten to take them to court. - After some melodramatic scenes, actor Ashok Kumar brings in a dramatic end to the drama, teasingly telling the director and the heroine, " Kaise raha yeh twist climax mein ? (How was this twist in the climax)," a dialogue the actor repeatedly deploys in the film. - It was unusual, and first in many ways: this is the only film in which Anand and Kishore Kumar acted together; this was both Ashok Kumar and Meena Kumari's outing with Dev; the only one in the evergreen hero's long and distinguished career where he is not seen singing a solo or a duet. The film is about a spoiled rich kid, Ajay (Rajkumar Gupta), who is a problem child and is sent away to a boarding school by his grandfather. The board school is run by Shekhar (Abhi Bhattacharya). He gains the students' trust and educates them about the heritage of their country and encourages them to become model citizens. At the boarding school, Ajay continues his ways and gets into trouble all the time, including with Shekhar. Meanwhile, Ajay meets and befriends a crippled boy named Shakti (Rattan Kumar) whose character is the opposite of Ajay. Shakti tries to go after him and stop him but his handicap slows him down and his earnestness to get Ajay back causes him to lose track of the heavy traffic on the road. That is when Shakti is run over in a horrific accident. This was the triggering moment in Ajay, realizing that it was because of his stubbornness, Shakti died. This moves him to change and become a better person. He goes on to excel in academics and sports. Meanwhile, Shekhar's method of teaching wins approval by the education board in the end. He decides to leave the boarding school to spread his message elsewhere through his unorthodox but successful ways. Her husband Ramdas (Bipin Gupta) is a very religious, meek man who lets her boss everyone around in the home. The home includes their eldest daughter-in-law Gauri, a widow, raising two little boys. Their middle son is Kailash (Raaj Kumar), married to a very devoted, loving woman named Sita (Devika). Their youngest son is Kamal (Rajendra Kumar), a college student, who falls in love with another student Usha (Asha Parekh). The young married daughter Bhairavi (Shubha Khote), who was living with her husband and father-in-law, has now moved back home using a trivial reason, such as how she doesn't like her father-in-law's singing. Her husband Sarang (Agha) has followed her and is staying in the household, trying his best to get his wife to come back to his home. Shanta has completely spoiled her daughter. One day, Bhairavi plants a suspicion in Kailash's head that Sita is having an affair with Kamal. Even after Kamal's marriage to Usha, Kailash's suspicions grow to the point where he leaves his wife and attempts suicide. His friend, a respectable dancer named Ragini (Meenu Mumtaz), stops him. He accepts her help and later pursues her romantically, but she sees him only as a friend, as he is a married man.
One day, Kamal sees his mother about to hit Usha and stops her. He also convinces his father Ramdas to tame his mother and take control of the household. Ramdas finally does that. He forces Bhairavi to return with Sarang to her in-laws. Meanwhile, when Sita tells Kailash that she is pregnant, he rejects the notion that he is the father, claiming that Kamal fathered the child. Sita vehemently denies these allegations. Heartbroken, she attempts suicide but is stopped by other members of the family. Bhairavi is forced to tell the truth about how she fabricated the story of Kamal having an affair with Sita. Kailash now believes in Sita's fidelity and devotion and begs for her forgiveness. She forgives him, and the entire family is now reunited and happy.

The picture deals with a young man who has lost his memory and who thinks that he had murdered his brother. The mentally-ill man goes to see one Dr. Kailash but Dr. Kailash is killed by his rival Dr. Shukla who manages to inveigle the amnesic man into beliveing that he was murderer of Dr. Kailash also. The amnesic man meeta a buxom girl called Mala who being a medical student decides to help the young afficted man after falling love with him. Dr. Shukla soon makes thing dangerous for the amnesic who is required by the police. Mala runs away with her lover to Dr. Jeevan, a psychiartist who helps the amnesic man to remember his past. At las the amnesic man realizes that he had lost his memory after his brothers accidental death and that all his guilt complexes were only mental aberations. His crime having been discovered Dr. Shukla commits suicide while the buxom girl and her lover happily united.

Like a truant comet fleeing from its moorings, the train flashed through the covering darkness of the forest range. . In the dim corridor, a girl screams, her voice tremulous with tremulous with tension and terror. Someone flings open a door, revealing a dead body in a pool of blood! Whistles, cries and shouts fill the air; men are seen flitting about in frantic urgency. The train pulls to jerky screeching halt. . Shreenath, a handsome smiling youth is apprehended and faces a summary investigation in the station masters crowded room. He protests angrily, but in vain. The appearances are against him. At teh nick of the moment, however, the Anglo-Indian driver of the train enters and testifies to the innocence of the suspect. Shreenath is allowed to go. . But he has no place to go to. His father whom he came to meet, is missing for years, the police constable inform him, and is believed to be absconding from a charge of murdering the wife of Raiji, a local Hitler with a ready gun. Keen to know more about his father, Shreenath wanders into the multi-room house of Raiji. Little did he know he had walked into a veritable death trap. Strange things happen to him here-sinister doors open and close around him, a mysterious hand leads him out of a tight corner, he is attacked by a fearsome monster of a man. . He meets a lovely charmer in Raijis daughter, Mukta. The pleasant encounter is, however, cut short by the irate master of the house and he is told to clear out of the premises. But when he is about to leave he hears a plaintive voice, begging for help. Who was it? Something in the voice grips him and lures him back to the ghostly house. Now this entrancing girl guides him to an under ground vault where he meets a broken, manacled prisoner- his long lost father. A precious diamond ring which Raiji wanted for himself comes into the fearful dream and unleashes a landslide of startling incidents. Raiji and his thugs go for Shreenath. Mukta finds her love and loyalty divided between the attractive stranger and her own father. Desperately Raiji puts to flames his own spacious house. In one room lies Shreenath, trapped and chained. Outside the room stands Raiji, firing at everyone who comes within his sight and range. . The climax to this exciting parade of events is as horrifying as it is full of fascinating drama.

Synopsis:One of the big hits of the year from Bombay Talkies produced by Ashok Kumar and Sarak Vacha, "Tamasha" had a narrative far ahead of its times, the action spread over 16 eventful days. On the surface, a young heir-apparent, Dilip (Dev Anand) is hopelessly in love with an aspiring film actor,
- Nayantara (Kaushalya) who together with her scheming mother(Sunalini Devi), a struggling director (Randhir) and assistant actually wants him to finance her launching pad.
- The stumbling block is Dilip's ailing grandfather, Rai Saheb (Bipin Gupta) who is dead against the alliance and constantly warning him to break away from the actress that will otherwise only bring shame to the family.
- Although Dilip keeps assuring him that he has severed all ties, and is, in fact, dating a homely girl from a middle class family, he is actually besotted with the actress who is simultaneously in an unholy alliance with big star Ashok Kumar . Persuaded by Rai Sahib, Dilip hires the services of Kiran (Meena Kumari) as his new love interest. As Kiran gets more and more comfortable as the housekeeper, Dilip gets caught in the whirlpool of his own creation, drowned in his infatuation with Nayantara and admiration for Kiran.
- Mummy, the director and Nayantara conspire and photograph Dilip in intimate moments with the latter, start blackmailing and threaten to take them to court.
- After some melodramatic scenes, actor Ashok Kumar brings in a dramatic end to the drama, teasingly telling the director and the heroine, " Kaise raha yeh twist climax mein ? (How was this twist in the climax)," a dialogue the actor repeatedly deploys in the film.
- It was unusual, and first in many ways: this is the only film in which Anand and Kishore Kumar acted together; this was both Ashok Kumar and Meena Kumari's outing with Dev; the only one in the evergreen hero's long and distinguished career where he is not seen singing a solo or a duet. Also the dialogue by famous Urdu writer, Krishan Chandar: " Samajhdar log dil se nahin dimag se mohabbat karte hai (The wise use their head not heart to be in love)," actor Ashok Kumar tells a besotted Dilip; " Mohabbat usi ka naam hai jo qurbaniyan na de (Love is that which does not give sacrifices)".

The film is about a spoiled rich kid, Ajay (Rajkumar Gupta), who is a problem child and is sent away to a boarding school by his grandfather. The board school is run by Shekhar (Abhi Bhattacharya). Shekhar tries to instill good values in the students using unorthodox teaching methods. He gains the students' trust and educates them about the heritage of their country and encourages them to become model citizens.
At the boarding school, Ajay continues his ways and gets into trouble all the time, including with Shekhar. Meanwhile, Ajay meets and befriends a crippled boy named Shakti (Rattan Kumar) whose character is the opposite of Ajay. Shakti tries very hard to help Ajay change his ways, but Ajay's stubborn nature gets in the way.
Finally one day, Ajay attempts to leave the hostel and Shakti finds out. Shakti tries to go after him and stop him but his handicap slows him down and his earnestness to get Ajay back causes him to lose track of the heavy traffic on the road. That is when Shakti is run over in a horrific accident. This was the triggering moment in Ajay, realizing that it was because of his stubbornness, Shakti died. This moves him to change and become a better person. He goes on to excel in academics and sports.
Meanwhile, Shekhar's method of teaching wins approval by the education board in the end. He decides to leave the boarding school to spread his message elsewhere through his unorthodox but successful ways.

The film is about a spoiled rich kid, Ajay (Rajkumar Gupta), who is a problem child and is sent away to a boarding school by his grandfather. The board school is run by Shekhar (Abhi Bhattacharya). Shekhar tries to instill good values in the students using unorthodox teaching methods. He gains the students' trust and educates them about the heritage of their country and encourages them to become model citizens. At the boarding school, Ajay continues his ways and gets into trouble all the time, including with Shekhar. Meanwhile, Ajay meets and befriends a crippled boy named Shakti (Rattan Kumar) whose character is the opposite of Ajay. The large household at the centre of the plot is run by a tyrannical old mother Shanta (Lalita Pawar). Her husband Ramdas (Bipin Gupta) is a very religious, meek man who lets her boss everyone around in the home. The home includes their eldest daughter-in-law Gauri, a widow, raising two little boys. Their middle son is Kailash (Raaj Kumar), married to a very devoted, loving woman named Sita (Devika). Their youngest son is Kamal (Rajendra Kumar), a college student, who falls in love with another student Usha (Asha Parekh). The young married daughter Bhairavi (Shubha Khote), who was living with her husband and father-in-law, has now moved back home using a trivial reason, such as how she doesn't like her father-in-law's singing. Her husband Sarang (Agha) has followed her and is staying in the household, trying his best to get his wife to come back to his home. Shanta has completely spoiled her daughter. One day, Bhairavi plants a suspicion in Kailash's head that Sita is having an affair with Kamal. Even after Kamal's marriage to Usha, Kailash's suspicions grow to the point where he leaves his wife and attempts suicide. His friend, a respectable dancer named Ragini (Meenu Mumtaz), stops him. He accepts her help and later pursues her romantically, but she sees him only as a friend, as he is a married man.
One day, Kamal sees his mother about to hit Usha and stops her. He also convinces his father Ramdas to tame his mother and take control of the household. Ramdas finally does that. He forces Bhairavi to return with Sarang to her in-laws. Meanwhile, when Sita tells Kailash that she is pregnant, he rejects the notion that he is the father, claiming that Kamal fathered the child. Sita vehemently denies these allegations. Heartbroken, she attempts suicide but is stopped by other members of the family. Bhairavi is forced to tell the truth about how she fabricated the story of Kamal having an affair with Sita. Kailash now believes in Sita's fidelity and devotion and begs for her forgiveness. She forgives him, and the entire family is now reunited and happy.

The picture deals with a young man who has lost his memory and who thinks that he had murdered his brother. The mentally-ill man goes to see one Dr. Kailash but Dr. Kailash is killed by his rival Dr. Shukla who manages to inveigle the amnesic man into beliveing that he was murderer of Dr. Kailash also. The amnesic man meeta a buxom girl called Mala who being a medical student decides to help the young afficted man after falling love with him. Dr. Shukla soon makes thing dangerous for the amnesic who is required by the police. Mala runs away with her lover to Dr. Jeevan, a psychiartist who helps the amnesic man to remember his past. At las the amnesic man realizes that he had lost his memory after his brothers accidental death and that all his guilt complexes were only mental aberations. His crime having been discovered Dr. Shukla commits suicide while the buxom girl and her lover happily united.

Like a truant comet fleeing from its moorings, the train flashed through the covering darkness of the forest range. . In the dim corridor, a girl screams, her voice tremulous with tremulous with tension and terror. Someone flings open a door, revealing a dead body in a pool of blood! Whistles, cries and shouts fill the air; men are seen flitting about in frantic urgency. The train pulls to jerky screeching halt. . Shreenath, a handsome smiling youth is apprehended and faces a summary investigation in the station masters crowded room. He protests angrily, but in vain. The appearances are against him. At teh nick of the moment, however, the Anglo-Indian driver of the train enters and testifies to the innocence of the suspect. Shreenath is allowed to go. . But he has no place to go to. His father whom he came to meet, is missing for years, the police constable inform him, and is believed to be absconding from a charge of murdering the wife of Raiji, a local Hitler with a ready gun. Keen to know more about his father, Shreenath wanders into the multi-room house of Raiji. Little did he know he had walked into a veritable death trap. Strange things happen to him here-sinister doors open and close around him, a mysterious hand leads him out of a tight corner, he is attacked by a fearsome monster of a man. . He meets a lovely charmer in Raijis daughter, Mukta. The pleasant encounter is, however, cut short by the irate master of the house and he is told to clear out of the premises. But when he is about to leave he hears a plaintive voice, begging for help. Who was it? Something in the voice grips him and lures him back to the ghostly house. Now this entrancing girl guides him to an under ground vault where he meets a broken, manacled prisoner- his long lost father. A precious diamond ring which Raiji wanted for himself comes into the fearful dream and unleashes a landslide of startling incidents. Raiji and his thugs go for Shreenath. Mukta finds her love and loyalty divided between the attractive stranger and her own father. Desperately Raiji puts to flames his own spacious house. In one room lies Shreenath, trapped and chained. Outside the room stands Raiji, firing at everyone who comes within his sight and range. . The climax to this exciting parade of events is as horrifying as it is full of fascinating drama.

Synopsis:One of the big hits of the year from Bombay Talkies produced by Ashok Kumar and Sarak Vacha, "Tamasha" had a narrative far ahead of its times, the action spread over 16 eventful days. On the surface, a young heir-apparent, Dilip (Dev Anand) is hopelessly in love with an aspiring film actor,
- Nayantara (Kaushalya) who together with her scheming mother(Sunalini Devi), a struggling director (Randhir) and assistant actually wants him to finance her launching pad.
- The stumbling block is Dilip's ailing grandfather, Rai Saheb (Bipin Gupta) who is dead against the alliance and constantly warning him to break away from the actress that will otherwise only bring shame to the family.
- Although Dilip keeps assuring him that he has severed all ties, and is, in fact, dating a homely girl from a middle class family, he is actually besotted with the actress who is simultaneously in an unholy alliance with big star Ashok Kumar . Persuaded by Rai Sahib, Dilip hires the services of Kiran (Meena Kumari) as his new love interest. As Kiran gets more and more comfortable as the housekeeper, Dilip gets caught in the whirlpool of his own creation, drowned in his infatuation with Nayantara and admiration for Kiran.
- Mummy, the director and Nayantara conspire and photograph Dilip in intimate moments with the latter, start blackmailing and threaten to take them to court.
- After some melodramatic scenes, actor Ashok Kumar brings in a dramatic end to the drama, teasingly telling the director and the heroine, " Kaise raha yeh twist climax mein ? (How was this twist in the climax)," a dialogue the actor repeatedly deploys in the film.
- It was unusual, and first in many ways: this is the only film in which Anand and Kishore Kumar acted together; this was both Ashok Kumar and Meena Kumari's outing with Dev; the only one in the evergreen hero's long and distinguished career where he is not seen singing a solo or a duet. Also the dialogue by famous Urdu writer, Krishan Chandar: " Samajhdar log dil se nahin dimag se mohabbat karte hai (The wise use their head not heart to be in love)," actor Ashok Kumar tells a besotted Dilip; " Mohabbat usi ka naam hai jo qurbaniyan na de (Love is that which does not give sacrifices)".

The film is about a spoiled rich kid, Ajay (Rajkumar Gupta), who is a problem child and is sent away to a boarding school by his grandfather. The board school is run by Shekhar (Abhi Bhattacharya). Shekhar tries to instill good values in the students using unorthodox teaching methods. He gains the students' trust and educates them about the heritage of their country and encourages them to become model citizens.
At the boarding school, Ajay continues his ways and gets into trouble all the time, including with Shekhar. Meanwhile, Ajay meets and befriends a crippled boy named Shakti (Rattan Kumar) whose character is the opposite of Ajay. Shakti tries very hard to help Ajay change his ways, but Ajay's stubborn nature gets in the way.
Finally one day, Ajay attempts to leave the hostel and Shakti finds out. Shakti tries to go after him and stop him but his handicap slows him down and his earnestness to get Ajay back causes him to lose track of the heavy traffic on the road. That is when Shakti is run over in a horrific accident. This was the triggering moment in Ajay, realizing that it was because of his stubbornness, Shakti died. This moves him to change and become a better person. He goes on to excel in academics and sports.
Meanwhile, Shekhar's method of teaching wins approval by the education board in the end. He decides to leave the boarding school to spread his message elsewhere through his unorthodox but successful ways.

The large household at the centre of the plot is run by a tyrannical old mother Shanta (Lalita Pawar). Her husband Ramdas (Bipin Gupta) is a very religious, meek man who lets her boss everyone around in the home. The home includes their eldest daughter-in-law Gauri, a widow, raising two little boys. Their middle son is Kailash (Raaj Kumar), married to a very devoted, loving woman named Sita (Devika). Their youngest son is Kamal (Rajendra Kumar), a college student, who falls in love with another student Usha (Asha Parekh). The young married daughter Bhairavi (Shubha Khote), who was living with her husband and father-in-law, has now moved back home using a trivial reason, such as how she doesn't like her father-in-law's singing. Her husband Sarang (Agha) has followed her and is staying in the household, trying his best to get his wife to come back to his home. Shanta has completely spoiled her daughter. One day, Bhairavi plants a suspicion in Kailash's head that Sita is having an affair with Kamal. Even after Kamal's marriage to Usha, Kailash's suspicions grow to the point where he leaves his wife and attempts suicide. His friend, a respectable dancer named Ragini (Meenu Mumtaz), stops him. He accepts her help and later pursues her romantically, but she sees him only as a friend, as he is a married man.
One day, Kamal sees his mother about to hit Usha and stops her. He also convinces his father Ramdas to tame his mother and take control of the household. Ramdas finally does that. He forces Bhairavi to return with Sarang to her in-laws. Meanwhile, when Sita tells Kailash that she is pregnant, he rejects the notion that he is the father, claiming that Kamal fathered the child. Sita vehemently denies these allegations. Heartbroken, she attempts suicide but is stopped by other members of the family. Bhairavi is forced to tell the truth about how she fabricated the story of Kamal having an affair with Sita. Kailash now believes in Sita's fidelity and devotion and begs for her forgiveness. She forgives him, and the entire family is now reunited and happy.

The large household at the centre of the plot is run by a tyrannical old mother Shanta (Lalita Pawar). Her husband Ramdas (Bipin Gupta) is a very religious, meek man who lets her boss everyone around in the home. The home includes their eldest daughter-in-law Gauri, a widow, raising two little boys. Their middle son is Kailash (Raaj Kumar), married to a very devoted, loving woman named Sita (Devika). Their youngest son is Kamal (Rajendra Kumar), a college student, who falls in love with another student Usha (Asha Parekh). The young married daughter Bhairavi (Shubha Khote), who was living with her husband and father-in-law, has now moved back home using a trivial reason, such as how she doesn't like her father-in-law's singing. Her husband Sarang (Agha) has followed her and is staying in the household, trying his best to get his wife to come back to his home. Shanta has completely spoiled her daughter. One day, Bhairavi plants a suspicion in Kailash's head that Sita is having an affair with Kamal. Even after Kamal's marriage to Usha, Kailash's suspicions grow to the point where he leaves his wife and attempts suicide. His friend, a respectable dancer named Ragini (Meenu Mumtaz), stops him. He accepts her help and later pursues her romantically, but she sees him only as a friend, as he is a married man.
One day, Kamal sees his mother about to hit Usha and stops her. He also convinces his father Ramdas to tame his mother and take control of the household. Ramdas finally does that. He forces Bhairavi to return with Sarang to her in-laws. Meanwhile, when Sita tells Kailash that she is pregnant, he rejects the notion that he is the father, claiming that Kamal fathered the child. Sita vehemently denies these allegations. Heartbroken, she attempts suicide but is stopped by other members of the family. Bhairavi is forced to tell the truth about how she fabricated the story of Kamal having an affair with Sita. Kailash now believes in Sita's fidelity and devotion and begs for her forgiveness. She forgives him, and the entire family is now reunited and happy.

Kasauti is 1974 Hindi Bollywood Movie.
The Story is about Neeta and Sapna are two friends who live in Bombay, India. Neeta is married to a blue collared worker, who first loses the use of his legs in an accident, and then subsequently turns blind. Sapna, whose dad has passed away, now lives with her mom, and her foster father, Pramod. In order to make money for a living, Neeta becomes a prostitute, and wants Sapna to improve her lifestyle. Sapna accompanies her, is molested by Heera, and rescued by a taxi-driver, Amitabh Sharma. Both Amitabh and Sapna fall in love and want to get married. Before that could happen, Sapna is arrested by the Police for assaulting Pramod, she is tried in Court, where she remains silent, and gets a six month jail sentence. When she is discharged, Amitabh tells her that her mom has been arrested and is serving life in jail for killing Pramod. When both are about to get married, Amitabh's dad objects to this marriage, as he does not want any relationship with a former jailbird and a woman who mother is a murderer. Unable to stand in the Sharma family way, Sapna decides to leave Bombay and re-locates to Calcutta where she establishes herself as a stage actress, while Neeta, whose husband passes away, is arrested by the Police for prostituting.

Plot : Sohan and Raju are two brothers. Raju works for a tea garden in Ooty and Sohan works for a textile mill and stays with his blind father, mother, wife Sarju, younger sister Pratima and son Kundan in Mumbai. Sohan & Sarju do not take well care so Raju leaves their house with his parents and Pratima. Barkha, housemaid of Rai Bahadur Badrinath, helps Raju find an accommodation and job in mill. Badrinath's daughter Sarita falls in love with Raju. Raju is reluctant but finally falls for her. Badrinath arranges Sarita's marriage with Premnath, brother in law of Sohan but Sarita finds out that he is already married with Kamla. She ropes in Kamla to marry Premnath and reveals the truth during the marriage rituals. Badrinath decides for Raju to marry Sarita. But Raju is competing in a boxing bout to win Rs.2000 for his father's eye operation. Raju win's the bout and reward money. Angry for disrupting her brother's marriage, Sarju sends Kundan with an acid bottle to throw it on Raju but Sohan saves Raju and loses his eyes. The incident unites the entire family again.
