This is a special episode of David Letterman, which aired in at 11:30PM on October 26, 1989. The 27th anniversary episode of the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson aired earlier that night, so Letterman temporary took over the 11:30 time slot for the night. The sound is kinda muffled and the video quality isn't great, but that is to be expected given that it was taped from TV almost 25 years ago.
