"It’s not every day a suave Radio 3 radio presenter (John Stride) is sent a photo of what appears to be two nubile, fresh-faced young women in front of a gypsy caravan. With no explanation given, this tantalising and anonymous gesture sets in motion a strange play of altogether murky goings-on from John Bowen, the author of Robin Redbreast. In a state of depression, his wife (Stephanie ‘Juliet Bravo’ Turner) is seemingly convinced the photo is sent by a vengeful woman he had an affair with. He, on the other hand, appears baffled. She becomes obsessed with the idea he’s been playing away, and she drives herself half-mad trying to solve the mystery. She blows up the photo to poster size and feels sure one of the girls has a tattoo. Reinforcing the faint image in black ink to exaggerate the feature, she taunts her husband with a detail which is close to the bone. Pushed to the point of exasperation with his his wife’s unending questioning, he sets out by himself to solve the mystery. Events are confusing because we’re not sure what he already knows about the photograph and whether or not he’s lying to her to keep the peace. If she knows anything herself, is also unclear. Is she taunting him inadvertently, because of her own twisted paranoia, or because armed with the truth, she’s determined to angrily push him to the brink? Gypsys with thick, Hardyesque burrs, cross-dressers, beautiful, valium-swallowing wives and saucy hitch-hikers make this a suspenseful, charming and worthwhile member of the Play for Today canon. The presence of wily matriarch Mrs Vigo from Robin Redbreast provides continuity with the earlier play, and Bowen penned a two-part instalment of LWT’s Sunday Night Thriller in 1981 called Dark Secret, in which Anne Stallybrass plays a former scientist running a Cotswold restaurant, employing a similarly rustic woman as kitchen help, who turns out to have the same surname"

Play for Today
Play for Today is a British television anthology drama series, produced by the BBC and transmitted on BBC1 from 1970 to 1984. During the run, more than three hundred programmes, featuring original television plays, and adaptations of stage plays and novels, were transmitted. The individual episodes were between fifty and a hundred minutes in duration. A handful of these plays, including Rumpole of the Bailey and The Blackstuff (later Boys from the Blackstuff), subsequently became television series in their own right.
History
The strand was a successor to The Wednesday Play, the 1960s anthology series, the title being changed when the day of transmission became variable. Popular works screened in anthology series on BBC2, like Willy Russell's Our Day Out (1977), were repeated on BBC1 in the series. The producers of The Wednesday Play, Graeme MacDonald and Irene Shubik, transferred to the new series. Shubik continued with the series until 1973 while MacDonald remained with the series until 1977 when he was promoted. Later producers included Margaret Matheson and Richard Eyre (1978–80).

For Today is an American Christian metalcore band from Sioux City, Iowa, formed in 2005. They are currently signed to Nuclear Blast Records. They have released two EPs: Your Moment, Your Life, Your Time and Prevailer, and six full-length albums: Ekklesia on April 1, 2008,Portraits on June 9, 2009,Breaker on August 31, 2010, Immortal on May 29, 2012, Fight the Silence on February 4, 2014 and Wake on October 2, 2015
History
The band was founded in 2005 by Ryan Lietru, Mike Reynolds, David Morrison, Matt Tyler and Jon Lauters. Lauters and Tyler (who later became known as Madison Skylights) left the band soon after, and were replaced by Mattie Montgomery (formerly of Besieged) and Brennan Schaeuble. Schaeuble was replaced by Ryan's brother Brandon. On April 1, 2008, they released their first studio album, produced by Facedown Records, Ekklesia, a term from Greek and is a self-designation of the first Christians that you wanted to express their faith. On May 8, 2008 appeared from said album of the most successful titles - Agape - also known as video. Their second album, Portraits, was released on June 9, 2009, on the same label, and peaked at No. 15 of the Billboard Christian albums chart. Different biblical personalities are portrayed on the album: Old Testament prophet Ezekiel, Joel, Elijah and Isaiah, and the Pharisee Nicodemus, Zacharias, Saul (later Paul) of Tarsus and Immanuel (Jesus). The last song of the album, "Talmidim" - designation for followers of a rabbi, here are probably the disciples of Jesus, that all Christians meant) - deals with the Bible verse Ezekiel 36:26-28.

The Cure
The Cure are an English rock band formed in Crawley, West Sussex, in 1976. The band has experienced several line-up changes, with vocalist, guitarist and principal songwriter Robert Smith being the only constant member. The Cure first began releasing music in the late 1970's with their debut album Three Imaginary Boys; this, along with several early singles, placed the band as part of the post-punk and new wave movements that had sprung up in the wake of the punk rock revolution in the United Kingdom. During the early 1980's, the band's increasingly dark and tormented music was a staple of the emerging gothic rock genre.
After the release of 1982's Pornography, the band's future was uncertain and Smith was keen to move past the gloomy reputation his band had acquired. With the single "Let's Go to Bed" released the same year, Smith began to place a pop sensibility into the band's music and their popularity increased as the decade wore on, with songs like "Just Like Heaven", "Lovesong" and "Friday I'm in Love". The band is estimated to have sold 27 million albums as of 2004 and have released thirteen studio albums, ten EPs and over thirty singles during their career.

"It’s not every day a suave Radio 3 radio presenter (John Stride) is sent a photo of what appears to be two nubile, fresh-faced young women in front of a gypsy caravan. With no explanation given, this tantalising and anonymous gesture sets in motion a strange play of altogether murky goings-on from John Bowen, the author of Robin Redbreast. In a state of depression, his wife (Stephanie ‘Juliet Bravo’ Turner) is seemingly convinced the photo is sent by a vengeful woman he had an affair with. He, on the other hand, appears baffled. She becomes obsessed with the idea he’s been playing away, and she drives herself half-mad trying to solve the mystery. She blows up the photo to poster size and feels sure one of the girls has a tattoo. Reinforcing the faint image in black ink to exaggerate the feature, she taunts her husband with a detail which is close to the bone. Pushed to the point of exasperation with his his wife’s unending questioning, he sets out by himself to solve the mystery. Events are confusing because we’re not sure what he already knows about the photograph and whether or not he’s lying to her to keep the peace. If she knows anything herself, is also unclear. Is she taunting him inadvertently, because of her own twisted paranoia, or because armed with the truth, she’s determined to angrily push him to the brink? Gypsys with thick, Hardyesque burrs, cross-dressers, beautiful, valium-swallowing wives and saucy hitch-hikers make this a suspenseful, charming and worthwhile member of the Play for Today canon. The presence of wily matriarch Mrs Vigo from Robin Redbreast provides continuity with the earlier play, and Bowen penned a two-part instalment of LWT’s Sunday Night Thriller in 1981 called Dark Secret, in which Anne Stallybrass plays a former scientist running a Cotswold restaurant, employing a similarly rustic woman as kitchen help, who turns out to have the same surname"
