South African staff barge reporter

Support staff for the South African cricket team push Channel Nine reporter Will Crouch as he attempts to approach captain Faf du Plessis.

The Proteas' head of security Wadee was part of a crack seven-person team that helped 150 people to safety during the Mumbai terror attacks in 2008.

The "chief close protection operative", as he is described by the security company – Zans & Associates – that employs him, has also looked after top executives from corporations, including Coca Cola, and US talk show queen Oprah Winfrey. He has also worked at two Olympics, a football World Cup and in the Indian Premier League.

His employers say they pride themselves on developing a "proven and successful risk mitigation strategy" against "elements using unorthodox and guerrilla methods to inflict damage and in most cases cause maximum harm".

Wadee has also been a karate instructor.
