Diferente es un extraño musical cripto-gay, de Luis M.Delgado, con el bailarín y coreógrafo Alfredo Alaria. Una rareza para el cine español de la época: una apología de la homosexualidad que sorprendente mente, incluso para sus propios creadores incluso, no tuvo ningún problema para estrenarse en 1962, algo que sólo se explica por la torpeza y miopía de los cretinos censores franquistas., dado el enfoque tan personal y "diferente" que dentro de ese núcleo musical le da a la película este "one man show" de Alaria: fusión insólita de musical clásico -en menos porcentaje-, vanguardista -aquí mucho y "West Side Story" a la cabeza-, colorido, danza y baile español. Esto la configura como una rareza a agradecer y que para más valor es, en último término y aparte de las otras posibles lecturas del film -la soledad del artista, su condición de ser elitista y desubicado en el mundo,...- una apología de la homosexualidad -Alaria lo era- francamente audaz y bien inteligente, con pasajes sobresalientes -la parodia del cine mudo con Alaria travestido- y de la que la censura ni se enteró, permitiendo fuese exhibida como a cualquier cándida película de Marisol.
Ahora bien, "Diferente" tiene defectos muy acusados como son la propia mediocridad interpretativa de Alaria y cía, su horrible capacidad para cantar y demasiada endeblez argumental (aunque esto último es caro a casi todo el género).
No obstante, una curiosa película, de destacable desparpajo coreográfico y atractivo encanto "naif".

Alicia Tomás acompañada por José Luis López Vázquez (pelucón rojo), Emilio Laguna (pelucón azul) y José Morales (pelucón amarillo), interpretando el número cómico-musical "¡ AY QUÉ SUSTO!" en la película "UNA PAREJA...DISTINTA" dirigida por José María Forqué en el año 1974 y con la interpretación de: José Luis López Vázquez, Lina Morgan, Ismael Merlo, Xan das Bolas, Manuel Díaz González, Verónica Forqué, Emilio Laguna, Eduardo Calvo, Rina Ottolina, Susi Sánchez, Fabián Conde,... Alicia Tomás la "vedette-torero" dejó el teatro durante tres años, al que luego volvió, para lanzarse al ruedo llegando a matar 200 reses apoderada por Manolo Lozano, que llevaba a otras novilleras. A esta vocación y afición, bueno.. y al novillo que la embistió en 1974 en un festival taurino en Guadalajara, le debe una cicatriz en el muslo izquierdo de 20 centímetros de la que dice estar orgullosa. Siguió ligada al mundo taurino como apoderada en la década de los 80. Empezó muy pronto en el mundo del espectáculo, a los 8 años ingresa en el Instituto del Teatro donde recibe clases de danza (su gran pasión), declamación y maquillaje, en el Conservatorio estudia la carrera de piano, a los 9 años ya forma parte del cuerpo de baile del Liceo de Barcelona, aunque empezó a despuntar siendo primera bailarina de la compañía con 16 años en la Revista en la que debuta "Cassen", "Carrusel Mágico", siendo la primera vedette Nicole Blancherie, a la que posteriormente sustituye en la Compañía de Revistas de Alfredo Alaria siendo ya primera vedette en el espectáculo "De Las Vegas a España". Su mayor actividad profesional la desarrolló en Barcelona acompañando a Ethel Rojo, Mary Santpere, Gila, Carmen de Lirio, ...

María Delgado
María Delgado is a blind Paralympic swimmer from Spain who has competed in several national and international championships.
Personal
María Delgado is from the Aragon region of Spain. She has a vision impairment called congenital toxoplasmosis. As a result of the condition, she only has peripheral vision since she was born.
Swimming
María Delgado is an S12 classified swimmer, and is a member of the Aragua AD swimming club. She is affiliated with ONCE.
Delgado competed at the 2010 Spanish Age Swimming Championships for blind and visually impaired, where she finished first in all but one of the races she competed in. The remaining race she finished third in. In 2010, she competed at the Paralympic Swimming Championship of Spain by Autonomous Communities, where she won two bronze medals while representing Aragon.
Competing at the 2011 Paralympic Swimming Championship of Spain by Autonomous Communities, Delgado earned a gold medal in the 50 meter backstroke and another in the 100 meter freestyle. She also earned a silver in the 100 meter backstroke and a bronze in 50 meter freestyle. In 2011, she competed in the swimming component of the Sports Association Championships Aragón Aragua. She competed at the 2011 National Olympiad in the under-16 group.

Alicia Tomás acompañada por José Luis López Vázquez (pelucón rojo), Emilio Laguna (pelucón azul) y José Morales (pelucón amarillo), interpretando el número cómico-musical "¡ AY QUÉ SUSTO!" en la película "UNA PAREJA...DISTINTA" dirigida por José María Forqué en el año 1974 y con la interpretación de: José Luis López Vázquez, Lina Morgan, Ismael Merlo, Xan das Bolas, Manuel Díaz González, Verónica Forqué, Emilio Laguna, Eduardo Calvo, Rina Ottolina, Susi Sánchez, Fabián Conde,... Alicia Tomás la "vedette-torero" dejó el teatro durante tres años, al que luego volvió, para lanzarse al ruedo llegando a matar 200 reses apoderada por Manolo Lozano, que llevaba a otras novilleras. A esta vocación y afición, bueno.. y al novillo que la embistió en 1974 en un festival taurino en Guadalajara, le debe una cicatriz en el muslo izquierdo de 20 centímetros de la que dice estar orgullosa. Siguió ligada al mundo taurino como apoderada en la década de los 80. Empezó muy pronto en el mundo del espectáculo, a los 8 años ingresa en el Instituto del Teatro donde recibe clases de danza (su gran pasión), declamación y maquillaje, en el Conservatorio estudia la carrera de piano, a los 9 años ya forma parte del cuerpo de baile del Liceo de Barcelona, aunque empezó a despuntar siendo primera bailarina de la compañía con 16 años en la Revista en la que debuta "Cassen", "Carrusel Mágico", siendo la primera vedette Nicole Blancherie, a la que posteriormente sustituye en la Compañía de Revistas de Alfredo Alaria siendo ya primera vedette en el espectáculo "De Las Vegas a España". Su mayor actividad profesional la desarrolló en Barcelona acompañando a Ethel Rojo, Mary Santpere, Gila, Carmen de Lirio, ...

The Australian spy scandal took a surprising turn today with the East Timorese government claiming it had identified at least four Australians involved in an espionage operation in Dili. East Timor alleges Australia spied on the Timorese during oil and gas negotiations in order to extract a commercial benefit. East Timor says the spies' lives could now be at risk. La Santeria en Matanzas, Cuba: An Interview with Alfredo Calvo
http://kabiosile.org Alfredo Calvo (Oba Tola, ibae) was the last living direct godchild of Fermina Gomez (Ocha Bi, ibae) and one of the most knowledgable elders in Matanzas, Cuba until his death in August 2011. This interview was filmed in his home in 2009. In it he shares his perspective on the Afro-Cuban spiritual tradition known variously as Santeria, Lucumi, Regla de Ocha or, in his words, "the religion." Additional footage is from private archives and "Vamos al Tambor" (a Kabiosile DVD, available at http://www.kabiosile.org). The Interview was originally intended as an introduction to that DVD, and is offered publicly in fond memory of Padrino Alfredo.

With output power around 5-6 MW per each very large wind turbine unit, I doubt it will be enough to power a large field water injection needs. The water injection project at Campeche Bay in Mexico required two GE LM2500 gas turbines producing (in 1990) around 22MW each. Such a project would require at least SEVEN very large wind turbines, not very attractive considering the variable output of windpower ... ....
