Jeep Cherokee may refer to:
The Lexus RX is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV sold since 1998 by Lexus, the luxury division of Toyota. Originally released in its home market of Japan in late 1997 as the Toyota Harrier, export sales began in March 1998 as the Lexus RX. Three generations of the Lexus RX have been produced to date, the first being compact in size, and the latter two classified as mid-size. Both front- and four-wheel drive configurations have been used on the RX series, and several gasoline powertrain options, including V6 engines and hybrid systems, have been offered. In the Lexus model lineup, the RX sits below the larger GX and LX body-on-frame SUVs, and above the smaller NX crossover. The RX name stands for Radiant Crossover. It has also been labelled as "Recreation Cross Country" in some markets.
The first-generation RX 300, fitted with a 3.0-liter V6 engine, began sales in 1998. The Japanese market Toyota Harrier released in 1997 also offered a 2.2-liter inline-four, later uprated to 2.4-liters. The second-generation RX 300 (3.0-liter V6) and RX 330 (3.3-liter V6) models went on sale in 2003, with both variants supplanted by the more powerful RX 350 (3.5-liter V6) in 2006. Like the previous series, a 2.4-liter inline-four engine was sold alongside the 3.0-liter V6 in the Japanese market Toyota Harrier. In 2005, a hybridized gasoline-electric version of the 3.3-liter second-generation model was made available as the RX 400h in export markets and as the Harrier Hybrid in Japan. For the third and current iteration released in 2009, both RX 350 (3.5-liter V6) and RX 450h (3.5-liter V6 hybrid) models were initially offered, with an entry-level RX 270 (2.7-liter inline-four) offered by Lexus in some Asian markets, including in Japan, since 2010. Since the release of the third generation, Japanese sales have occurred under the Lexus RX name as opposed to Toyota Harrier as had been the case previously.
The manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP), list price or recommended retail price (RRP) of a product is the price at which the manufacturer recommends that the retailer sell the product. The intention was to help to standardise prices among locations. While some stores always sell at, or below, the suggested retail price, others do so only when items are on sale or closeout/clearance.
Suggested pricing methods may conflict with competition theory, as they allow prices to be set higher than would otherwise be the case, potentially negatively affecting consumers. However, resale price maintenance goes further than this and is illegal in many regions.
Much of the time, stores charge less than the suggested retail price, depending upon the actual wholesale cost of each item, usually purchased in bulk from the manufacturer, or in smaller quantities through a distributor.
Suggested prices can also be manipulated to be unreasonably high, allowing retailers to use deceptive advertising by showing the excessive price and then their actual selling price, implying to customers that they are getting a bargain. Game shows have long made use of suggested retail prices both as a game element, in which the contestant must determine the retail price of an item, or in valuing their prizes.
Earl Richard Stewart, Jr. (October 15, 1921 – July 11, 1990) was an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour in the 1950s and 1960s; and was a college head golf coach in the 1970s and 1980s.
Stewart was born in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from Dallas' Sunset High School in 1938. He attended Louisiana State University and was a member of the golf team. In 1941, he won the NCAA Championship, and led the Bayou Bengals to a share of the NCAA team title in 1942.
Stewart had three wins in PGA Tour events during his career. His first win came in 1953 at the Greater Greensboro Open. He would win the Ardmore Open later that year. His best finishes in major championships were T10 at the 1952 U.S. Open and T15 at The Masters in 1953. Like many professional golfers of his generation, Stewart earned his living primarily as a club pro. His third and final win on the PGA Tour, the 1961 Dallas Open Invitational, came on his own course at the Oak Cliff Country Club.
Stewart was the head golf coach at Southern Methodist University from 1975–1987. He coached both the men's and women's teams. Men's golf was dropped by the university in 1980. He won a national championship with the women's team in 1979. One of his students was future two-time U.S. Open and PGA Champion Payne Stewart (no relation). In 1987, he was inducted into the National Golf Coaches Association Coaches Hall of Fame for his role as a women's collegiate golf coach at SMU.
http://www.newcars.com/news/msrp-vs.-invoice - Todays topic: MSRP vs. Invoice—Which Price Should You Pay? Words like MSRP and Invoice are used a lot when discussing new car pricing—but what do they mean and which should you pay? Legally, a car manufacturer cannot set the prices at which dealers sell their cars. They can only suggest a price, known as the MSRP, or Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price. The MSRP includes standard equipment plus any factory-installed options. The MSRP is sometimes confused with the Sticker Price. The sticker price that you see posted in a new cars window is actually the MSRP plus any dealer-installed options, prep fees and markup. The invoice price refers to what the dealer pays the manufacturer for the new car. But thats not necessarily what the deal...

In this segment of the Earl Stewart on Cars radio program, Earl discloses how dealer cost is calculated and why it is a flawed approach to determine the lowest car price. Earl suggests that you compare manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP) instead. Chris Malta's Wholesale Supplier: http://www.worldwidebrands.com Tip 12; This will teach you what 'MSRP' stands for and how it impacts your 'e-commerce' business. If you have an online retail or home business, you need to be able to effectively communicate with your wholesale suppliers and 'potential' wholesale suppliers. That's how you make the most of your supplier relationships. You need to speak their language, which means understanding the 'wholesale' jargon and industry terminology they throw around. When you know what suppliers are saying, you can approach them with confidence. Learn the terms that you'll frequently come across when you work with wholesalers and dropshippers.
The automobile dealer pricing model has changed. They no longer advertise prices with excess profit built into the advertised price know that the majority of it will be "negotiated away". The internet has forced the dealer to put their best price forward in order to attract phone calls, emails, and walk-in traffic. Problem is the consumer doesn't understand nor do they believe that a pricing revolution has taken place. Consequently they are negotiating like they've always like these pre-discounted prices are the "new MSRP's). Most sales team, know only how to negotiate in the traditional manner are ill-prepared for this new normal. Few sales teams understand the importance of discussing the dealership's pricing model EARLY in the transaction. The result? Profits are lower (or even absent) ...

Walking wounded with a belly
full of pain
And a big bad attitude
We are shaking shadows for that
perfect dark room
Where we can do just what we
want to do
There is a place...
Where we can leave behind
All those simple minds
They would not like
the way we live
When we are all alone
In this house that we call home
You will become my
misery whip
(yes...I said like a misery whip)
Walking hungry with a pocket
full of promise
And a big black song
in my head
I know the answers to
my questions
They are purple black and blue
And they are waiting for me in my bed
There is a place...
Where we can leave behind
All those simple minds
They would not like
they way we live
When we are all alone
In this house that we call home
You will become my
misery whip
(I will say it again...
like a misery whip)
Stop!
I get no pleasure
When I'm going through
the motions
Of my mediocre day to day
I'm just an actor
Just like
Robert fucking Redford
When I say those stupid words
That they expect me to say
Yes we can leave behind
All those simple minds
They would not like the dirty
things we do
Yeah
When we are all alone
In this house that we
call home...
I will fall down like a bitch
for you
I need you to hit me and
make me
Shake
I need you to hurt me and
make me
Beg for more
I need you to bend me and
make me
Break
I need you to make me feel like
I am your whore
I feel complete when
I feel sick inside
I need to feel like
I am real inside
I need to feel like
I am really alive
I need you to make me feel
I need you to hit me and
make me
Shake
I need you to hurt me and
make me
Beg for more
I need you to bend me and
make me
Break
I need you to make me feel
Like we can leave behind
All those simple minds
They would not like
the way we live
When we are all alone
In this house that we call home
You will become my
misery whip
