If it is not, they will level the floor before beginning any laying. Tiles laid on an uneven floor will only suffer from problems later on. A tiler will use the right adhesive not only for the type of tile but for the situation they will be laid in – water resistant for wet areas, or heat resistant if underfloor heating is being installed, for example. Tilers are also able to space the tiles correctly, lay in feature or border tiles, cut any tiles in the most appropriate areas, grout the tiles using plain or coloured grout, and clean the tiles afterwards.
