The Fenn Treasure is a treasure reportedly worth $1m–$3m hidden by art dealer and author Forrest Fenn in the Rocky Mountains. According to Fenn, many people have claimed to have found the treasure, but no one has provided any evidence to him supporting their claim. As of 2015, Fenn has stated that to his knowledge it is still not found.
Forrest Fenn operated an art gallery with his wife, Peggy, after retiring from the Air Force. The gallery was located in Santa Fe, New Mexico and sold everything from artifacts to fine art and was quite successful. In 1988, Fenn was diagnosed with cancer and came up with the idea during this illness to create a bronze chest full of treasure for anyone to go find. He filled the chest with "treasure" containing gold nuggets, rare coins, jewelry and gemstones, along with a jar holding his autobiography. He intended to hide it and end his life nearby, with the treasure as a legacy. However, he survived his illness and waited until he was 79 or 80 to hide the treasure. At least two people have been reported missing while searching for the treasure. One individual who was later found went missing in 2013. The most recent in January 2016 has still yet to be found.

Frank Stanford (August 1, 1948 – June 3, 1978) was a prolific American poet. He is most known for his epic, The Battlefield Where The Moon Says I Love You— a labyrinthine poem without stanzas or punctuation. In addition, Stanford published six shorter books of poetry throughout his 20s, and three posthumous collections of his writings (as well as a book of selected poems) have also been published.
Just shy of his 30th birthday, Stanford died on June 3, 1978 in his home in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the victim of three self-inflicted pistol wounds to the heart. In the three decades since, he has become a cult figure in American letters.
Frank Stanford was born Francis Gildart Smith on August 1, 1948 to widow Dorothy Margaret Smith at the Emery Memorial Home in Richton, Mississippi. He was soon adopted by a single divorcee named Dorothy Gilbert Alter (1911-2000), who was Firestone's first female manager. In 1952, Gilbert married successful Memphis levee engineer Albert Franklin Stanford (1884-1963), who subsequently also adopted “Frankie” and his younger, adoptive sister, “Ruthie” (Bettina Ruth). Stanford attended Sherwood Elementary School and Sherwood Junior High School in Memphis until 1961 when the family moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas following A. F. Stanford's retirement; Stanford finished junior high school in Mountain Home. The elder Stanford died after the poet's freshman year at Mountain Home High School.
Love Island (originally Celebrity Love Island) is a daily British reality television programme. In the show, twelve single celebrities spent five weeks on an island in Fiji. Viewers would vote for the couple they would like to see in the "love shack" where the two would get to know one another better. In the first series, each week viewers voted celebrities off the island, but in the second, the inhabitants had the final say. The identities of those being kicked out were revealed in the elimination episodes. The prize for the final couple left standing was £50,000. The second series also featured the inhabitants having to cook and clean up after themselves to fight the appearance that they were just there for a free holiday.
It was originally presented by Patrick Kielty and Kelly Brook, with Fearne Cotton taking over as female host in the second series. It aired in the United Kingdom on ITV. The first series aired in the summer of 2005, and it was won by Jayne Middlemiss and Fran Cosgrave. The second series began in July 2006, dropping Celebrity from its name. It was won by Bianca Gascoigne and Calum Best.

In honor of these sly moviemakers, we've compiled a list of our favorites. We’re focusing on frames, text, and audio that is literally hidden in each movie – not simple easter eggs (like the Egyptian etching of R2-D2 and C-3PO in Raiders of the Lost Ark or the The Bride's "F*** Yo...

By turn hilarious and haunting, poet Shane Koyczan puts his finger on the pulse of what it's like to be young and ... different. "To This Day," his spoken-word poem about bullying, captivated millions as a viral video (created, crowd-source style, by 80 animators). I touch dirt, perform demonic rituals, and set fire to art (physically and metaphorically). I'm sorry that I didn't keep the plan of discussing higher education this week but I've had a rough past couple of days. I had to make this in addition to my weekly video so I combined them. This spell should be read aloud, preferably with any magical aids you have at your disposal. Concentration and practice are key, nothing comes easy, and nothing comes for free. Be careful what you wish for… Between the shadows I wish to be Below the surface where man’s eye can see Solid as a rock yet fluid as the sea Able to blend at will indiscriminately When I must disappear I think it, will it, blood turns clear Body changing have no fear One moment seen, then not here When the time has come to pass To be seen again, I will at last Deep within the spell is cast Inward outward whole yet vast Please subscribe and check out my other spells, transformations, curses, and other pagan poems. A fan video I recently made from the Interstellar OST's Deluxe edition. Have used the last track on it. The poem (actually a villanelle) was written by Dylan Thomas, and originally published in 1951. (I think Michael Caine did very good justice to the poem. There should have been a version recited entirely by him!) Apology: There was a typo. The name should be Casey *Affleck. STILL CRAZY I saw, in a middle-aged stranger's face, The fine-drawn, darling features of a girl I'd loved in college: full lips; arched brow; brown Eyes that mirrored my straining and my squinting Incredulity as we waltzed our way, As if on castors, towards one another. It hardly struck me if she'd changed that much, Though she must have. Time had crumpled and folded Back onto itself like her yellow scarf For the few minutes that we ranged and squabbled Over and rearranged the autumn lived Together and the decades spent apart: "You've got a memory like a sieve", she said. Later, I wondered if my looming mug Had simply shocked her in its grizzled state, Or if it still retained some of the boyishness From the days our affections, at full gallop, Had shied at the first high gate of commitm...

Heres a virtual movie of Lord Alfred Douglas "Bosie" the onetime lover of Oscar Wilde reading his poem/Lament to his tragic genius friend "The Dead Poet" . Lord Alfred Bruce Douglas (22 October 1870 -- 20 March 1945), nicknamed "Bosie", was a British author, poet and translator, better known as the intimate friend and lover of the writer Oscar Wilde. Lord Alfred Douglas was born in 1870 and educated at Magdalen College, Oxford. He was the editor of The Academy from 1907 to 1910 and was at one time the intimate friend of Oscar Wilde. One of the minor poets of "the eighteen-nineties," several of his poems rise above his own affectations and the end-of-the-century decadence. The City of the Soul (1899) and Sonnets (1900) contain his most graceful writing. Kind Regards Jim Clark ...
** READ THIS FIRST PLEASE. ** So, please support my long ass rendering times by watching this in 1080. Please! Headphones maybe or maybe not preferred. There are a couple mistakes such as volume and stuff (don't you love sound editing) but it wasn't too distracting luckily! Also the sims version number shows up once but I cbf to re render all of it for that. Director's Notes: So I definitely feel like this is another filler episode. Nothing exactly eventful happens but you do get to learn about a possible relationship between a character so information is given. Watches, likes, and comments are definitely appreciated. I rendered this a billion times so here's to hoping it finally frickin worked. This is my first time with the blur effect and I didn't want to use it on every single clip...

Several years into his work, he receives a visit from a disreputable-looking visitor. The bishop is much upset. What transpired between them that has so upset the good churchman? And then there is the murder. Fergus Hume was one of the most prolific and most popular of 19th century novelists. "Mr. Hume won a reputation second to none for plot of the stirring, ingenious, misleading, and finally surprising kind, and for working out his plot in vigorous and picturesque English. In "The Bishop's Secret," while there is no falling off in plot and style, there is a welcome and marvelous broadening out as to the cast of characters, representing an u...

The aim of the symposium was to bring together writers and activists from that era to talk about the influential alignments, cross-currents among them, and tell us what goals we can now understand as shared even if the means differed at that time. The impact of that era on African American literature has been called a "furious flowering." A clear discussion of the insights from this past is necessary for us to continue forward with this harvest. The symposium focused on the midwestern centers of the movement.
