Lombardy (/ˈlɒmbərdi/ LOM-bər-dee; Italian: Lombardia [lombarˈdiːa]; Lombard: Lombardia, pronounced: (Western Lombard) [lumbarˈdiːa], (Eastern Lombard) [lombarˈdeːa]) is one of the twenty administrative regions of Italy, in the north-west of the country, with an area of 23,844 square kilometers (9,206 sq mi). The word Lombardy comes from Lombard, which in turn is derived from Late Latin Longobardus, Langobardus (“a Lombard”), derived from the Proto-Germanic elements *langaz + *bardaz; equivalent to long beard. Some sources derive the second element instead from Proto-Germanic *bardǭ, *barduz (“axe”), related to German Barte (“axe”).
The second leg of Andrew Graham-Dixon and Giorgio Locatelli's journey takes Giorgio home, to Lombardy, a region brimming with engineering innovations and the influences brought by the proximity to Northern Europe, always with an eye to the future. The first stop is of course Corgeno, Giorgio's hometown, where Andrew is the guest at a typical Sunday Lunch at the Locatelli's home. Andrew repays him with a visit to some very unusual frescos by Lorenzo Lotto, hidden in a private chapel. The Christ with long fingernails is one of Andrew's favourite frescos. And it's time to reach Milan, the capital, with its temples dedicated to the Gods of religion (The Duomo), art (La Scala) and capitalism (the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele the II and surroundings streets, full of luxury shops). At his resta...
Lombardy is one of the most populated regions in Italy, as well as one of the four financial motors of Europe. Milan, its capital, is considered a world capital for fashion and design. As the financial headquarter for Italy, Milan is also a metropolis that owes part of its appeal to the union of hi-tech, as seen in the newly built skyscrapers, and its symbolic sites of art and history. There are numerous cities in Lombardy that are rich in history and art dating back to long-ago ancestors. At the same time, these cities serve as headquarters for highly advanced technological hubs. LOVE TO HATE YOU
For seven months and fifteen days
I've been telling you lies in different ways
I know things will change
But I don't know when
You keep talking about us
Like we still were friends
I just hate the way you piss on me
I just love to say what's eating me out
I love to ass rape you
I really love to ass rape you
And nothing you do
Will ever change my pussy style
I'm doing fine w/ u fucking me
Without you i would be all dry
It wasn't meant to be like this
All you gave her was a genetal herpes
I didn't believe
She would turn to be bi-sexual
The love of your life
Just like me
I just hate the way you talk to me
I just love to say what's bothering me now
I love to hate you
I really love to hate you
And nothing you do
Will ever change my mind
I'm doing fine
Without you
I'm doing fine
I love to hate you
I really love to hate you
And nothing you do Will ever change my mind
I'm doing fine
I love to hate you
I really love to hate you
And nothing you do
Will ever change my mind
I'm doing fine
Without you
