Lewis Hamilton lapped up the attention ahead of the Mexican Grand Prix as former Barcelona stalwart Carles Puyol and world champion boxer Lennox Lewis paid him a visit in his garage.
The reigning Formula 1 world champion welcomed his celebrity guests before clinching pole position ahead of Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg.
Puyol, now retired from the beautiful game, made the trip to the Autodromo Hermanos Rodrigues in Mexico City, and was joined by former Olympian Lewis.
The pair were representing Laureus Sport for Good and mingled with fans before chatting with Mercedes chief Toto Wolff.
Soon after, Hamilton took to the track and pipped Rosberg to pole as he bids to stay alive in the title race.
The Brit is aiming to narrow the 26-point gap to the German with just two more races left after Mexico.
Should Hamilton finish 10th or lower tonight, then Rosberg can clinch the title with a win.
