Welcome to the unique experience of Rudy’s Lakeside Drive-In. We have been serving Oswego NY and the surrounding communities since 1946. We have become a regional favorite of upstate NY, continuously providing the freshest products available, cooked to order as ‘customers’ watch. The following are specifics on the products, ingredients, and options available on our menu. All are very important to remember.

“RUDY’S” Homemade Texas Hot Sauce: This is one of our house specialties!

A spicy meat sauce that can be put on anything, and usually is…! Any item topped “HOT” will automatically include Raw Onions, Mustard and the Sauce. (*This should be explained to any customer that seems new, unsure, or questioning…*). All “HOT” orders can be made WITHOUT ANY one ingredient, i.e. “Sauce Only,” “Hot N/O,” etc. To designate an item “HOT” a “H” is added to the food items code, for example “FH”= Fish Hot, and “FFH(N/M)”= French Fry Hot, No Mustard. TEXAS HOT SAUCE is also available for sale in pint bottles. The sauce may be frozen and should otherwise be kept refrigerated.

1. We use 200 gallons of ketchup every week
2. We cook 2000+ pounds of FISH every week.
3. The LOGO was created in 1980, long before any famous band used a similar style for their moniker, by the owner’s then 13 yr old daughter.
4. We are in the 3rd generation of family owner/operation since it’s incept…and the fourth generation has already started in the stockrooms!!
5. We have always and will always strive to find new ways to reuse-reduce-recycle.
6. We sell 100 % our used cooking oil for refinement into bio-diesel.
7. Our scallops and fish are the highest grade A select rated.
8. Our Rice Pudding, Mac salad, Slaw, Chowder, and Tzatzaki are all proprietary recipes prepared fresh daily.
9. We pound our Burger in-house daily.
10. Our local butcher, Boscos, has been supplying our beef for over 65 years and our fresh produce comes from local farm markets.
