Have run 2 spartan beasts, 3 supers and a handful of sprints with these and absolutely love the performance the provide. Have tried other brands and always come back to these inov-8's

I am in love with my shoes. If you want one shoe in your life, this is it! Aesthetically pleasing, functional, and comfortable. I wear these shoes to run, walk, teach, and live in. They are the perfect everything show. Your feet may need to get adjusted to them, for they have less cushion than the typical commercial shoe. If you have a wide foot, I'd recommend getting a wide version. They run a bit narrow by the toes! Perfect shoe.

I'm using these for my Krav Maga gym and they've been great for the last couple of months. They're light weight but provide good support for fighting stances and all of the maneuvers we see at the gym!

Buying my second pair. These have become my favorite trail running shoe. Great fit -- snug in the heal and over the top of foot, but plenty of space in the toe box. Good traction on packed dirt and mud. Lightweight and flexible but with enough structure to protect your foot. I use them for runs up to about 20 miles, but move to a heavier shoe for longer trips or very rocky terrain.

The shoe feels a little 'flat'. I don't know how else to describe it. My other Inov8's have a softer ride, even the 0 drop shoes. The soles on these are pretty stiff. I do like that the shoes are comfortable midfoot. I have a couple of bunions and often the lacing or the side stitching cuts into my foot. I don't have this problem with these shoes. I think these will be a good mid distance shoe-up to a 13.1, but I don't think I will wear them for my long runs.

These shoes are great, way light, the tread is great for mud and trail runs. I run Spartan and Tough Mudder almost monthly. I've put these through training and at least 6 races and not a stitch came loose. The lace system never comes untied with a single knot. On the long runs the impact starts to get to me personally so I'm going with the x-claw 275 for those, but these are great for 5 miles or less.

I run in INOV-8's specifically for their minimalist qualities. That means a very flexible shoe with moderate to limited support and low level of cushioning. These shoes have really met all of my running needs for my style of running. This is my 6th pair of INOV-8, and will not be my last.

I have been buying inov-8 shoes for years and generally have loved them. However, on this shoe, the toe box kept rubbing the side of my feet. The first time I wore them I got big water blisters next to my pinkie toes on both feet. Then I doubled up my socks and tried to break in the shoes. After four tries, I give up. They are very uncomfortable even with two pairs of socks for cushion. Unfortunately, I had to return.

Bought these for a Spartan Sprint. They arrived super fast as all my purchases from Zappos. Fit was great. I didn't have time to break them in first wear was for the race. They were spot on. I felt totally in control of the mud. Grips were great. They didn't hold on to mud. They got me through every obstacle. I couldn't ask for a better shoe for this event.

Just bought my 4th pair of these. I wear them all the time. These are great for sloppy winters, wet grass, soggy sports games and walking through puddles. The arch support is weak so I take out the liners and insert my own inserts with better arch support.

I fell in love with my previous pair of F-Lite 240s because of their roomy toe box, as I have an (apparently) inordinately wide forefoot and a natural splay. Unfortunately, I didn't realize how different this new 240's "Precision Fit" shape is. It more-or-less does succeed in holding my foot in place, but it doesn't conform to my foot shape and accommodate my splay as the standard-fit previous version did. The size that fits my forefoot is as a result slightly loose in the heel and has a good inch of room between my big toe and the tip of the shoe.

These were amazing shoes! First time I used them out of the box was for my Spartan Beast race to finish my trifecta. They really rocked through the whole race. While other people were slipping down super muddy hills, I was able to charge right through. They drained really well after water and mud. I washed after and they are good as new! Highly recommend for OCR!

This review is for a very specific audience: the brotherhood of the square feet. I wear a 10eeee in New Balance running shoes and cross-trainers, but (as far as I can tell) there is no such thing as a lifting shoe in that size. These are comfortable and supportive in a UK size 10 (US 11) and after resisting buying dedicated lifting shoes, I'm a complete convert.

Love these shoes! I was unsure about ordering shoes online because I couldn't find in store but I bit the bullet and did it and I'm soooo glad I did! Great for crossfit all around. Love ;)

I just wore these boots for 3 days of strenuous desert mountain hiking. They are so far the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I have been wearing minimal support shoes for 4 years now so I've had time to adapt to the "barefoot" feel. I did a 12 mile hike one day, a 6 mile hike the next day, and a 16 mile hike the third day in them and I have no blisters and no hot spots. My feet feel great! (I wouldn't recommend them for strenuous hiking for anyone who has not had time to develop their foot muscles for minimal support shoes.) They seem to be waterproof, I wore them in a shallow stream, however I noticed that the toe area is already starting to peel so I am not sure how long they will last or remain waterproof.

Great shoe for Crossfit! They are extremely lightweight and you can feel every rock beneath your feet when running but the lack of weight makes these great for box jumps, burpees, pretty much any cardio movement. Plus the grip on the soles plus the rubber on the sides made these perfect for rope climbs!

I have done many obstacle races (of varying lengths) and raced in these every time. I love these shoes - I did have to wear a few times before the race to get used to the 3mm drop, but once I did...I love them! I have not had any trouble with tearing or arch support.
