Detroit Project

Manchester and Detroit share a lineage both in terms of  the history of dance music and their industrial backgrounds.  So it’s no surprise that Manchester-based duo Detroit Project’s music references both: they make house music with a serious nod to the Motor City.

After making a splash at Miami this year their debut release on London-based label East Recordings is stirring up much interest. Their “On the Dance Floor” EP is available now on Traxsource and all the usual stores.

Paisley Skies EP

Denied Music is the brainchild of US producer/DJ Daniel Allen and his label bears the hallmarks of his taste in underground house, tech-house and techno.  In this vein Denied will be releasing Pablo del Monte’s ‘Paisley Skies’ EP available exclusively through Traxsource on 10th June.

This EP is for full moons and city lights. It’s for dropping the mundane for the moment, for the call. With a keen vocal and crisp bounce, the title track is cathartic house at its finest. The ‘Paisley’ instrumental belts the same invitation of the original, while del Monte’s ‘Dub Frequency’ evokes cosmic reggae soul.
