Peachy chicken
There is something delicious about adding a little sweet fruit to cooked chicken - they are very good flavour partners indeed. Your baby will love this pureed dinner that tastes terrific and is so simple for you to make.
ingredients
- 1/3 cup chopped and cooked boneless chicken
- 1/4 cup cooked brown rice
- 1 tablespoon breast milk or formula
- 1 very ripe peach, diced
method
- Mix the chicken, rice and peach together.
- Puree to the appropriate consistency (smooth for first solids).
- Add and mix breast milk or formula to thin the mixture as required. Serve.
- This can be frozen in ice cube trays..
- When frozen, pop the Peachy chicken cubes out of the trays and transfer to freezer bags to store in freezer.
notes
- If preferred you can use breast formula instead of breast milk.
