Reed Hadley (born Reed Herring; June 25, 1911 – December 11, 1974) was an American film, television and radio actor.
Reed Hadley was born in Petrolia in Clay County near Wichita Falls in northern Texas, to Bert Herring, an oil well driller, and his wife Minnie. Hadley had one sister, Bess Brenner. He was reared in Buffalo, New York and graduated from Bennett High School there. He was involved in the local Studio Arena Theater. Hadley and his wife, Helen, had one son, Dale. Before moving to Hollywood, he acted in Hamlet on stage in New York City.
Throughout his thirty-five-year career in film, Hadley was cast as both a villain and a hero of the law, in such movies as The Baron of Arizona (1950), The Half-Breed (1952), Highway Dragnet (1954) and Big House, USA (1955), and narrated a number of documentaries. He starred in two television series, Racket Squad (1950–1953) as Captain Braddock, and The Public Defender (1954–1955) as Bart Matthews, a fictional attorney for the indigent.

Zorro's Fighting Legion is a 1939 Republic Pictures film serial consisting of twelve chapters starring Reed Hadley as Zorro and directed by William Witney and John English. The plot revolves around his alter-ego Don Diego's fight against the evil Don Del Oro. A trademark of this serial is the sudden demise of at least one native informant in each episode. The direction was identical for each informant's death, creating a source of unintentional humor: each informant, upon uttering the phrase, "Don Del Oro is...", is shot by a golden arrow and dies before being able to name the villain's alter ego. The serial is also unusual in featuring a real historical personage, Mexican President Benito Juárez, as a minor character.

To do data science you need five sets of verbs: import, tidy, transform, visualise, and model. Importantly, you also need a way to connect these tools together so that your analysis flows from one step to another, without you beating your head against the wall. Wickham will discuss the idea of the pipe as it is implemented in R with the magrittr package, covering why the pipe makes code easier to read and how it provides a unifying interface throughout a complete workflow. Join us to learn how pipelines + tidyr, dplyr, ggplot2, and purrr can make data analyses fast, fluent and fun.
