Sometimes, even the most beloved characters in popular culture need a little bit of reworking. Particularly in animation, where designs can grow stale as characters are allowed to remain in ageless stasis for years upon years, a slight tweaking now and then can help to keep designs visually striking and keep older properties fresh.
But then… there are these. These are times when characters, some of them loved by millions of fans, were subjected to nonsensical changes for reasons nobody could fathom. They more often than not resulted in the rebooting, or outright cancellation of the property- all because those making the creative decisions didn’t know when to leave well enough alone.

Grand Theft Auto V
Grand Theft Auto V is an open world, action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It was released on 17 September 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, on 18 November 2014 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and on 14 April 2015 for Microsoft Windows. The game is the first main entry in the Grand Theft Auto series since 2008's Grand Theft Auto IV. Set within the fictional state of San Andreas, based on Southern California, the single-player story follows three criminals and their efforts to commit heists while under pressure from a government agency. The open world design lets players freely roam San Andreas's open countryside and fictional city of Los Santos, based on Los Angeles.
The game is played from either a first-person or third-person view and its world is navigated on foot or by vehicle. Players control the three lead protagonists throughout single-player and switch between them both during and outside of missions. The story is centred on the heist sequences, and many missions involve shooting and driving gameplay. A "wanted" system governs the aggression of law enforcement response to players who commit crimes. Grand Theft Auto Online, the online multiplayer mode, lets up to 30 players explore the open world and engage in cooperative or competitive game matches.

Salman Khan
Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan (born 27 December 1965) better known as Salman Khan (pronunciation : [səlˈmaːn ˈxaːn];) is an Indian film actor, producer and television personality. He has a significant following in Asia and the Indian diaspora worldwide, and is cited in the media as one of the most popular and commercially successful actors of Hindi cinema.

Zarine Khan
Zarine Khan (born 14 May 1987) is an Indian actress and model who mainly works in the Hindi film industry, though has also appeared in Tamil and Punjabi language films.
Khan made her screen debut with a leading role in the 2010 Anil Sharma's period film Veer co-starring with Salman Khan for which she was nominated for the Zee Cine Award for Best Female Debut. Khan garnered recognition from her item number "Character Dheela" in Ready, which was one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of 2011. Khan earned commercial success in Bollywood with Sajid Khan's Housefull 2. The following year, Khan made her Tamil debut in the Tamil film Naan Rajavaga Pogiren, in which she did an item number in the song "Malgove". She achieved further success for her leading roles in the 2014 romantic thriller Jatt James Bond, a box-office success.
Early life
Khan was born into a Pathan family, on 14 May 1987 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She speaks Hindi, Urdu, English and Marathi. She completed her intermediate at Rizvi College of Science, Mumbai.

Sometimes, even the most beloved characters in popular culture need a little bit of reworking. Particularly in animation, where designs can grow stale as characters are allowed to remain in ageless stasis for years upon years, a slight tweaking now and then can help to keep designs visually striking and keep older properties fresh.
But then… there are these. These are times when characters, some of them loved by millions of fans, were subjected to nonsensical changes for reasons nobody could fathom. They more often than not resulted in the rebooting, or outright cancellation of the property- all because those making the creative decisions didn’t know when to leave well enough alone.
