The Gold Coast, Queensland is Australia’s adventure playground. With more than 300 days of sunshine, 70 kilometres of unspoiled coastline and beaches, 100,000 hectares of World Heritage rainforest, and the Southern Hemisphere’s largest range of attractions and activities it’s no wonder it is high on the family travel bucket list.

 

1. Have a picnic and play with the kids at one of the many beautiful beach playgrounds and parks along the coast. Laguna Park, Palm Beach is a local’s pick.

2. Hire bicycles and cycle the Gold Coast bike ways. Spend the perfect day cycling from Coolangatta to Surfers Paradise along the beach front bicyle path.
