Frank Marshall Davis (December 31, 1905 – July 26, 1987) was an American journalist, poet, political and labor movement activist, and businessman.
Davis began his career writing for African-American newspapers in Chicago. He moved to Atlanta, where he became the editor of the paper he turned into the Atlanta Daily World, then moved back to Chicago. During this time, he was outspoken about political and social issues, while also covering topics that ranged from sports to music. His poetry work was sponsored by the Works Progress Administration (WPA). He also played a role in the South Side Writers Group.
In the late 1940s, Davis moved to Honolulu, Hawaii, where he ran a small business. He also became involved in local labor issues, where his actions were tracked by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Davis died in 1987 in Hawaii.
Davis was born in Arkansas City, Kansas, in 1905. His parents divorced, and Davis grew up living with his mother and stepfather and with his grandparents. In 1923, at age 17, Davis attended Friends University. From 1924 to 1927, and again in 1929, he attended Kansas State Agricultural College, now Kansas State University.

Jurassic World is a 2015 American adventure science fiction film and the fourth installment of the Jurassic Park series. It was directed and co-written by Colin Trevorrow, produced by Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley, and stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. The production companies were Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment, also responsible for the rest of the franchise, and Thomas Tull's Legendary Pictures. Set twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Jurassic World takes place on the same fictional island of Isla Nublar, off the Pacific coast of Central America, where a fully functioning dinosaur theme park has operated for ten years. The park plunges into chaos when a genetically modified dinosaur, Indominus rex, breaks loose and goes on a rampage across the island.
Universal Pictures intended to begin production on a fourth Jurassic Park film in 2004 for a summer 2005 release, but the film entered over a decade of development hell while the script went through revisions. Following a suggestion from Spielberg, writers Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver explored the idea of a functional dinosaur park. Once Trevorrow was hired as director in 2013, he followed the same idea while developing a whole new script with Derek Connolly. Principal photography rolled from April to August 2014, primarily in Louisiana while also using the original Jurassic Park filming locations in Hawaii. Again the dinosaurs were created through computer-generated imagery by Industrial Light & Magic and life-sized animatronics by Legacy Effects, a company created by the alumni of Jurassic Park veteran Stan Winston.

http://obamasrealfather.com/ Racy photos of Barack Obama's mother, Ann Dunham, have recently surfaced in vintage fetish and bondage magazines. The photos, taken at Frank Marshall Davis' house in Honolulu, appeared in Bizarre Life, Exotique, Secret Pleasures, and Battling Babes. They help illustrate the intimate relationship between Dunham and Davis. "My father was from Kenya, he grew up herding goats," Barack Obama told the cheering crowds. Did Obama build his political career upon a fairy tale? Was Obama misdirecting Americans away from a deeply disturbing family background and a Marxist political foundation? Obama's version of his early childhood is false -- the family did not split up when the Kenyan Obama went to Harvard as he claimed. In fact, Ann Dunham, took "Barry" to Seattle a...
I made this short video at the request of my friend "playground player," who is a Frank Marshall enthusiast. There's no voice over narration, but there is some live footage of Marshall v. Torre that's taken from the movie "Chess Fever." Although Marshall and Carlos Torre Repetto did play in the Moscow 1925 International Chess Tournament, they are in fact acting during the footage here. The video then covers Marshall's stunning victory at Cambridge Springs 1904, and concludes with highlights from one of Marshall's brilliancy prize games, this one against Levitsky at Breslau 1912. According to legend, the gallery showered the board with gold pieces after this game. Levitsky-Marshall 1912 http://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1094915
Interview with notable African-American poet and journalist Frank Marshall Davis. Frank is mentioned in Barack Obama's "Dreams From My Father," as a drinking buddy of his grandfather and an African-American that made an impression on the now President as a young man growing up in Hawaii. The Film & Media Archive partnered with the Center for Labor Education and Research (CLEAR) at the University of Hawaii West Oahu to preserve the interview. Note: this is not the complete interview. Frank Marshall Davis was the "Frank" in Barack Obama's "Dreams of My Father" (1995). F.M. Davis was a big Communist Party leader in Chicago and then in Hawaii. The FBI had asked FMD if he were a communist, and he denied such a connection. FMD was also friends & coworker with Vernon Jarrett, Valerie Jarrett's father. To all the doubting commies out there....this has all been proven.

Melvin Frank Marshall, interview number 1, at the Civic Center BART/Muni Station, San Francisco, January 19-20, 2008. This video is part of an ongoing series of conversations/interviews with panhandlers and/or homeless and/or street people that I happen to run across, mostly in the Tenderloin neighborhood of San Francisco. I don't pretend to have any solution for, or special insight into, the "homeless problem". I'm just interested in hearing people's stories, whoever they may be and whatever their situation may be. And perhaps it puts some names and stories to some of the faces you may see on the street. I ask whatever I feel like asking and wherever the conversation takes us. I'm certainly not the world's best interviewer, but maybe I'll get better at it over time.
Thought I would test my hand at a Shia Labeouf video. This one has Frank Marshall sitting through an interview as Shia spouts on about jellyfish
