Very cute song and dance number featuring Johnny Downs who was an actor and song and dance man who had a long career in Hollywood and later on TV. Sadly Eleanore Whitney is largely forgotten today and that's a shame because she was absolutely one of the best tap dancers of the 1930's. It is said that as a child Eleanor actually got tap dance lessons from tap legend Bill Robinson. Although her career was short she was said to have been the fastest tap dancer in Hollywood at least until Ann Miller came along.

the Phi Beta Nu fraternity and the Nu Beta Phi sorority reluctantly vote to stop dating each other so they can devote more time to their studies. The students' astronomy professor thinks the whole idea is foolish and devises a plan to get the two groups back together. Johnny Downs and Eleanor Lynn play the lovers caught up with their "friends" trying to keep them and everyone else apart.
There is one good musical number with these two standing under the stars and Downs singing a rather catchy tune in another clip. At the dance the professor's plan seems to work. Features Johnny Downs doing a hybrid swing encompassing many different forms and movements/ Patterns of various swing dance styles ... Collegiate Shag, St. Louis Shag, Charleston, Truckin' and more. Benny Goodman can be seen dancing here a well, altho short.

Johnny Downs
Johnny Downs (October 10, 1913 – June 6, 1994) was an American actor. Son of a naval aviator, he was taken to Hollywood in 1921 when his father was transferred to the San Diego naval base. He began his career as a child actor, most notably playing Johnny in the Our Gang short series from 1923 to 1926. He remained active in films, television, and theatre up through the early 1960s.
After Our Gang
Following his stint with Our Gang, Downs stayed with the short-subject series until 1927, appearing in twenty-four two-reelers in various roles. He honed his dancing and singing skills on the vaudeville stage, working prominently on Broadway until returning to Hollywood in 1934. Downs became a fixture of the "college musical" movie cycle of the late 1930s, usually cast as a team captain or a cheerleader. His movie career declined just after he returned to Hal Roach to star in a 45-minute streamliner feature, All-American Co-Ed. From then on he mainly walked the boards in vaudeville, summer stock, and one solid Broadway hit ("Are You With It"). One of his outstanding cameo appearances is his performance in Rhapsody in Blue where he dances to Robert Alda's piano playing of "Swanee". Downs made a short comeback in doing bit parts in the early 1950s. Despite never making it big, he has almost 100 movie credits to his name.

Production assistant
A production assistant, also known as a PA, is a member of the film crew and is a job title used in filmmaking and television for a person responsible for various aspects of a production. The job of a PA can vary greatly depending on the budget and specific requirements of a production as well as whether or not the production is unionized.
Production assistants on films are sometimes attached to individual actors or filmmakers.
Television and feature film
In unionized television and feature film, production assistants are usually divided into different categories: "Set PA", "Truck PA", "Locations PA", "Office PA", or "Set Runner" and "Extra PA or Daily" - Variations exist depending on a show's structure or region of the United States or Canada.
Office PAs usually spend most hours in the respective show's production office handling such tasks as phones, deliveries, script copies, lunch pick-ups, and related tasks in coordination with the production manager and production coordinator.

Dirty Dancing
Dirty Dancing is a 1987 American romantic drama film. Written by Eleanor Bergstein and directed by Emile Ardolino, the film stars Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey in the lead roles, as well as Cynthia Rhodes and Jerry Orbach.
Originally a low-budget film by a new studio, Great American Films Limited Partnership, and with no major stars (except Broadway legend Orbach in a supporting role), Dirty Dancing became a massive box office hit. As of 2009, it has earned over $214 million worldwide. It was the first film to sell more than a million copies on home video, and the Dirty Dancing soundtrack created by Jimmy Ienner generated two multi-platinum albums and multiple singles, including "(I've Had) The Time of My Life", which won both the Golden Globe and Academy Award for Best Original Song, and a Grammy Award for best duet. The film's popularity led to a 2004 prequel, Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights, as well as a stage version which has had sellout performances in Australia, Europe, and North America.

From the movie: COLLEGE HOLIDAY 1936 Very cute song and dance number featuring Johnny Downs who was an actor and song and dance man who had a long career in Hollywood and later on TV. Sadly Eleanore Whitney is largely forgotten today and that's a shame because she was absolutely one of the best tap dancers of the 1930's. It is said that as a child Eleanor actually got tap dance lessons from tap legend Bill Robinson. Although her career was short she was said to have been the fastest tap dancer in Hollywood at least until Ann Miller came along.

The students' astronomy professor thinks the whole idea is foolish and devises a plan to get the two groups back together. Johnny Downs and Eleanor Lynn play the lovers caught up with their "friends" trying to keep them and everyone else apart. There is one good musical number with these two standing under the stars and Downs singing a rather catchy tune in another clip. At the dance the professor's plan seems to work. The song Lilly's Boarding House is a story about the country music legend Hank Williams, who wrote and recorded country blues, a pre-cursor to the rock-n-roll that Elvis and Johnny Cash had waiting just round the corner a couple of years later... This track was recorded during a live show at the Con Club in Lewes, using 3 Sony Z1 cameras and 1 Canon 600D, 18-22mm lens and edited using a multi-cam. 2014 CAMERIMAGE NOMINATION FOR BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY AND MUSIC VIDEO
Paul McCartney and John Lennon's story at its core is a universal one, two young kids who form a bond through their passion for music. This video is about them, and every band, and every kid who has suffered the ups and downs of starting a band, whether or not they became successful. The universality of their story was a big inspiration for setting the film in Mississippi during the 50s. American Rock and Roll and the Mississippi Delta Blues is a time period that heavily inspired The Beatles. Early Days is about the spirit and inspiration young musicians find in each other.

Before the fighter's tragic death last year at the age of 45, director Eddie Alcazar spent time with Tapia researching a biopic. What would become his last interviews are now the beating heart of Alcazar's gripping, elegiac documentary. In it, the bedeviled, soft-spoken champion opens up about the severe ups and downs of a life in which the strategic ferocity of the ring may have been the only true sanctuary for a soul routinely beaten down outside the ropes.

From the movie: COLLEGE HOLIDAY 1936 Very cute song and dance number featuring Johnny Downs who was an actor and song and dance man who had a long career in Hollywood and later on TV. Sadly Eleanore Whitney is largely forgotten today and that's a shame because she was absolutely one of the best tap dancers of the 1930's. It is said that as a child Eleanor actually got tap dance lessons from tap legend Bill Robinson. Although her career was short she was said to have been the fastest tap dancer in Hollywood at least until Ann Miller came along.

Jamie Freeman Agreement - Lilly's Boarding House Music Video
I filmed this music video for Jamie Freeman Agreement, on the 15th February 2013. The song Lilly's Boarding House is a story about the country music legend Hank Williams, who wrote and recorded country blues, a pre-cursor to the rock-n-roll that Elvis and Johnny Cash had waiting just round the corner a couple of years later... This track was recorded during a live show at the Con Club in Lewes, using 3 Sony Z1 cameras and 1 Canon 600D, 18-22mm lens and edited using a multi-cam. Members of the band Jamie Freeman, Abigail Downs, Jessica Spengler, Jonathan Hirsch and Joe Ellis.

Very cute song and dance number featuring Johnny Downs who was an actor and song and dance man who had a long career in Hollywood and later on TV. Sadly Eleanore Whitney is largely forgotten today and that's a shame because she was absolutely one of the best tap dancers of the 1930's. It is said that as a child Eleanor actually got tap dance lessons from tap legend Bill Robinson. Although her career was short she was said to have been the fastest tap dancer in Hollywood at least until Ann Miller came along.

The students' astronomy professor thinks the whole idea is foolish and devises a plan to get the two groups back together. Johnny Downs and Eleanor Lynn play the lovers caught up with their "friends" trying to keep them and everyone else apart.
There is one good musical number with these two standing under the stars and Downs singing a rather catchy tune in another clip. At the dance the professor's plan seems to work. Features Johnny Downs doing a hybrid swing encompassing many different forms and movements/ Patterns of various swing dance styles ... Collegiate Shag, St. Louis Shag, Charleston, Truckin' and more. Benny Goodman can be seen dancing here a well, altho short.

The glory of his punishing ring prowess and handful of world titles across three weight classes forever jockeyed with personal demons: his mother's kidnapping and murder when he was 8, drug addiction, mental illness and suicide attempts.
Before the fighter's tragic death last year at the age of 45, director Eddie Alcazar spent time with Tapia researching a biopic. What would become his last interviews are now the beating heart of Alcazar's gripping, elegiac documentary. In it, the bedeviled, soft-spoken champion opens up about the severe ups and downs of a life in which the strategic ferocity of the ring may have been the only true sanctuary for a soul routinely beaten down outside the ropes.

Over the last 2 decades, Scorpion and Sub Zero have become two of the most iconic figures in all of gaming. Choosing a favorite almost defines what kind of person you are. We wanted to put this edit together including part of the story of Mortal Kombat 9 and 10, trailers, gameplay and Klassic Tower endings for both games. We also included a couple of parts where Johnny Cage, Sonya and crew hunt down Quan Chi, to put into context what Scorpion and Sub Zero where involved in and how they broke from Quan Chi's spell. During the beginning sequence of Mortal Kombat X, we also failed all the quicktime events on purpose so you can see Scorpion and Sub Zero beat on Johnny Cage, instead of the other way around.
Overall, we tried to use the stories at our disposal to manipulate it as a Scorpion/Sub Zero-centric. For example, we made a couple of Raiden's visions change into Sub Zero/Scorpion fight visions. Because of this, some of this won't line up with the official storyline in MK9 and MK10, but we think that overall it makes for a better story. We hope you enjoy!

Over the last 2 decades, Scorpion and Sub Zero have become two of the most iconic figures in all of gaming. Choosing a favorite almost defines what kind of person you are. We wanted to put this edit together including part of the story of Mortal Kombat 9 and 10, trailers, gameplay and Klassic Tower endings for both games. We also included a couple of parts where Johnny Cage, Sonya and crew hunt down Quan Chi, to put into context what Scorpion and Sub Zero where involved in and how they broke from Quan Chi's spell. During the beginning sequence of Mortal Kombat X, we also failed all the quicktime events on purpose so you can see Scorpion and Sub Zero beat on Johnny Cage, instead of the other way around.
Overall, we tried to use the stories at our disposal to manipulate it as a Scorpion/Sub Zero-centric. For example, we made a couple of Raiden's visions change into Sub Zero/Scorpion fight visions. Because of this, some of this won't line up with the official storyline in MK9 and MK10, but we think that overall it makes for a better story. We hope you enjoy!
