Marla Maples: ‘I want to become a UN ambassador in Africa’

DONALD Trump’s second wife Marla Maples is hoping to become a UN ambassador in Africa after her ex-husband’s election, according to reports.

The 52-year-old model and actor was spotted at Trump Tower in New York on Wednesday where the President-elect has been hosting future members of his administration.

A source told the New York Post that she “has been very interested in philanthropy for a long time,” and is keen on an assignment in Africa.

Separately, the Czech president said on Wednesday that Donald Trump “could not send a better US ambassador to Prague” than his socialite ex-wife Ivana.

His announcement comes days after Ivana Trump the New York Post that she’d love to take on the ambassador role for the Czech Republic, her home country.

“[That] is where I’m from and my language and everybody knows me. I’m quite known all around the world. Not only in America. I have written three books, and they were translated in 40 countries in 25 languages. I’m known by the name Ivana. I really did not need the name Trump.”

Czech President Milos Zeman has been supportive of Trump’s presidential run all along, saying he would’ve voted for him if he were an American citizen.
