A small crew of Brighton Antifascists mooched up to Nottingham yesterday to join Midlands Anti-Fascist Network in opposing the EDL. A piss-poor EDL demo was outnumbered 10-1 by local anti-fascists. And a good day was made even better by the fact some EDL seem to have “lost” their flag. Oops!
I am a 40 yr old geezer and not the handiest of people and in the absence of revolution, I believe anti-fascism to be the most vital pre- revolutionary activity along with grassroots trade unionism & grassroots community activism.
I may be able to help in other ways, scouting, intelligence gathering. Im quite good at writing so I could help draughting leaflets.
I realise turning out on the streets can be a numbers game, so just turning up might help
