Fashion meets art (in your wardrobe).
This month, join Vogue Australia in celebrating the NGV exhibition of Dutch designers, Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren, by purchasing the December 2016 issue. To honour the exhibition, each issue comes with a limited edition Viktor & Rolf x Vogue T-shirt featuring the design duo’s illustrations.
The T-shirt was designed in keeping with this issue’s theme: fashion loves art.
The exhibition, now showing at the National Gallery of Victoria, features a curated selection of the designers’ work, spanning from their debut show in 1993 to this year’s Vagabond collection. With more than 35 garments showcased, as well as 21 hand-made porcelain dolls wearing miniaturised couture, delicate tapestries, and archival video and photographs, the exhibition is a masterpiece in itself.
