To coincide with SBS’s ground breaking documentary series Go Back To Where You Came From, SBS has released research into Australian attitudes towards refugees and asylum seekers.
SBS embraces the opportunity to connect with audiences and communities through social media. To help SBS employees and those working on SBS projects understand their role and responsibilities when using social media, SBS has protocols which employees are expected to follow.
SBS is subject to the Freedom of Information Act 1992 (Cth) (FOI Act), and is required to publish a disclosure log on its website (section 11C). The disclosure log lists information which has been released in response to a request for access to an SBS document under the FOI Act. This requirement has applied since 1 May 2011.
