One Nation Senator Rod Culleton may attend High Court hearing

ONE Nation senator Rod Culleton may attend his High Court hearing in Canberra next week after previously saying it would have to be adjourned because parliament is sitting.

A directions hearing is scheduled on Monday in the court, sitting as the Court of Disputed Returns, over whether former Family First senator Bob Day and Senator Culleton were eligible to have been elected.

"We can't confirm that at this stage as the situation is still fluid, but Senator Culleton will be doing what is constitutionally and legally appropriate," a spokeswoman told AAP.
